Integration of Microsoft Exchange and Xendit

Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Exchange is an email services that hosts email servers on which the emails of its users are saved, and it allows users to send and receive emails. For example, if you have a personal email account with Xendit, your emails are stored on the Xendit server. The Xendit service is the same as Microsoft Exchange, but the difference between them is that Microsoft Exchange is a web-based mail service, but Xendit is a desktop-based mail service. Thus, you can use Xendit to manage your emails from your computer.

Xendit

Xendit is a leading provider of software for email management, with more than 30 million users worldwide. Xendit uses SMTP and IMAP protocps to send and receive emails. Users can use Xendit to manage their emails on their computers, and they do not need to use their web browsers to access their emails. Microsoft Exchange and Xendit are integrated, so that all the features of both systems can be used together. For example, You can reply to emails received in your inbox by using Microsoft Outlook or Xendit.

Integration of Microsoft Exchange and Xendit

Microsoft Exchange and Xendit are integrated through the Universal Application Interface (UAI. UAI is a universal application interface that has been developed by Microsoft as an open application programming interface standard for connecting applications. The UAI allows integration among different products and helps users to manage their email accounts more efficiently. The UAI supports the fplowing functions:

  • Migration from existing sputions of email clients (such as Lotus Notes. to Microsoft Exchange;
  • User interface integration;
  • Calendering; and
  • Synchronization between email clients and Microsoft Outlook.

The UAI helps users to transfer their emails through the two applications without interrupting their work. If a user wants to migrate from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange, the user will be able to use the UAI to transfer all his/her emails from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange. In this case, when the user receives emails from Lotus Notes, they appear in his/her inbox on Microsoft Outlook, and all other functions (such as replies, sending new emails etc.. are also available in Microsoft Outlook. When the user wants to reply to these emails, he/she does not have to switch back and forth between email clients. The UAI enables users to view information in both Microsoft Outlook and Xendit on the same screen at the same time.

Benefits of Integration of Microsoft Exchange and Xendit

  • Unified Messaging System – Unified messaging systems are used to send and receive voice messages, faxes, screen sharing, video conferencing and other types of data over IP networks. For instance, if a user sends an email message containing a video attachment, this attachment will be automatically converted into a format suitable for viewing on a computer screen and sent to the recipient via email. However, if the recipient wants to view this attachment on his/her computer screen or watch it on his/her smartphone or tablet device, he/she can do so by using this system. Unified messaging systems help users save time, because they no longer need to send attachments separately in different formats for viewing on different types of devices. Users also save money because companies do not need to purchase separate services for video conferencing for example. Unified messaging systems operate via email servers, so if you use Microsoft Exchange, you can enjoy this service as well. In addition, if you use Xendit, you can install additional components of this service on your computer so that you can enjoy unified messaging services from your personal device too.
