Microsoft Excel is free software for viewing, creating and editing spreadsheet documents. It was created in 1985 by Microsoft Corporation. It is one of the most popular software programs to use for creating spreadsheets and graphs because it has a user friendly interface. The program has been very successful and has been used for creating spreadsheets since its initial release. Microsoft Excel has many options for creating spreadsheets with cpumns, rows, cells, formulas, charts, pivot tables, etc. It has the ability to share the spreadsheets with others via email or over the internet. This can be done by downloading a web browser plugin. You can download the plugin at www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspxFamilyID=3B467AC9-5D25-48BD-B751-5F4B8E1F0F6C&displaylang=en . Once you have downloaded the plugin you can share your workbooks with others by using an email address. For example, if you have a workbook called myspreadsheet.xlsx you can send it to someone else by typing [email protected] in the address line of the email. This will send the file directly to the recipient's email inbox. The file will be sent in an email message that looks like this.
