MailChimp is one of the most popular email marketing platforms. It is used by small businesses, big businesses and even bloggers for sending promotional emails to their subscribers. It has a free version which includes 2,000 subscribers, 12,000 emails per month and other features. The paid version has more features.
Box is an online storage platform for storing files. It has a free version which allows users to store 10GB worth of data. Paid versions allow users to store more data.
Integrating MailChimp with Box will make it easier for users to store files on Box and use them in their emails. The steps invpved are as fplows:
Step 1. First, you need to create an account on both Box and MailChimp. Then, you should log into your MailChimp account and click “connect”. A pop-up window will appear asking you to authorize API access. Click “allow” after which MailChimp will generate a set of API keys for authentication purposes. These API keys are used to connect your MailChimp account to your Box account.
Step 2. After finishing step 1, you should log into your Box account and then go to the API Access section of the Settings menu. There, click the “create new key” button. A new window will open up where you can enter your project ID as well as your API key from your MailChimp account. You also have to select “read” as well as “write” permissions since they are needed to integrate MailChimp with Box. Do this for each API key that you generated from your MailChimp account.
Step 3. After completing step 2, you should return to your MailChimp account and then go to the API Keys section under the Integrations tab. There, click on the “edit” button next to the API Keys table entry. This will allow you to choose the API keys from your Box account that you want to link with your MailChimp account. You can also delete or disable any API key from this section if you want. In addition, you can also change the name of each API key as well as its description if necessary.
Step 4. After completing step 3, go back to your Box account and then go to the API Access section of the Settings menu again. There, click on the “view keys” button on the right side of the API Access section of the page. A new window will open up where you can see all the API keys that you have created for your project. These API keys are now linked with your MailChimp account so you can use them in your emails.
Step 5. Now, you can start using your API keys in your emails. When you write an email, go to the “content” tab of the editor and then click on the “insert file” icon at the top left corner of your screen. This will open up a new window where you can search for files stored on Box through MailChimp by typing or pasting their file names or web addresses in the search window provided there. You can also choose a file from the list shown there by clicking on it and then clicking “insert”. This will insert a link to your file in the body of your email message. This way, you can easily send files through your email messages when using MailChimp under this integration process.
