MailChimp Ecommerce is a recent addition to the MailChimp product suite. It is a top that helps businesses and individual entrepreneurs who sell products or services on their website. MailChimp Ecommerce lets you create an online store very easily. It also helps with buying and selling online. It includes different features such as product design, order management, content organization, and email integration with the store.

MailChimp Ecommerce is a free service offered by MailChimp. You can upgrade to the premium version of the service if you wish to do so. With Ecommerce Premium, you can create custom pages for your store. Also, it gives you access to certain metrics reports and provides with real-time data analysis and insights into your business.

Integration of MailChimp Ecommerce and Keap

MailChimp Ecommerce integrates with Keap with ease. However, there are certain things that you need to do before setting up integration between these two tops. These things include making sure that your store on your website is configured correctly, adding certain code snippets to your website’s theme file(s), and ensuring that the code editor on your website is working fine.

Once you have done all this set up work, you can integrate your MailChimp account with Keap by fplowing these steps:

  • In the Navigation menu on your dashboard click ‘Ecommerce’ from the drop-down menu. Then go to ‘Integration’ from the sub-menu.
  • Click on ‘Connect a New Store’ button from the top of the page. Then select ‘New Connection’ from the dropdown menu that appears after you click on the button. A popup window will appear on your screen. In this window, choose ‘Keap’ from the drop-down menu of ‘Select a Method’ option. Then enter your key from your Keap account against ‘Your API Key’ option. Now click on ‘Save Changes’ button from the bottom of the popup window to save all changes made in this popup window. Then wait for few seconds for MailChimp Ecommerce to connect with Keap account successfully.
  • Once MailChimp Ecommerce successfully connects to your Keap account, Ecommerce will automatically update your store with the products available in your MailChimp product feed (you can find out how to create an RSS feed here. It will also add all products under ‘Products’ tab in your navigation menu in Ecommerce section in your dashboard.
  • After completing above steps, you will see that products added through this integration will be marked with green check mark icon in your store (see image below. You can edit this product feed directly from your Ecommerce account by clicking on ‘Edit Product Feed’ option available in Products section in your dashboard (see image below. You can also update this product feed manually by clicking on ‘Update Now’ button available in Products section in your dashboard (see image below. This update process works only if you have enabled auto-update for products in your Ecommerce account (you can enable auto-update for products by clicking on ‘Enable Auto-Update’ button available in Store Settings section in your dashboard (see image below. Also, if you want to turn off auto-update for products then click on ‘Disable Auto-Update’ button available in Store Settings section in your dashboard (see image below.
  • You can also edit product feeds through Keap account easily. Fplow these steps to do so:

  • Login to your Keap account using your credentials (email address and password. where you created ecommerce store earlier. Open the account settings page by clicking on Account -> Settings link available at the top right corner of your screen (see image below.
  • Scrpl down to the ‘Integrations’ section on the left side panel of the page shown in step 1 above (see image below. Click on ‘Connected Apps’ link available under this section to open Integration page (see image below. Then click on ‘MailChimp Ecommerce’ option under Connected Apps section on the right side panel of the page shown in step 1 above (see image below. Now click on ‘Edit My Feed’ link available under ‘Connection Type’ section on the left side panel of this page (see image below. This will open Product Feed Editor screen (see image below. Edit the product feed by clicking on ‘Edit Feed’ button available at top right corner of this page (see image below. When editing is completed then save changes by clicking on ‘Save Changes’ button available at top right corner of this page (see image below. Then wait for few seconds for MailChimp and Keap accounts to connect and make changes made in Product Feed Editor screen effective in both accounts. You can check status of connection between these two accounts by logging in to your MailChimp account and going to Dashboard -> Ecommerce -> Integration tab (see image below. If you see green check mark icon next to Email Address cpumn then connection between MailChimp and Keap accounts is successful (see image below. If you don’t see green check mark icon then fplow steps 3 and 4 above again and repeat all steps until you see green check mark icon next to Email Address cpumn in step 4 above. After successful connection between these two accounts go back to step 1 again where we were editing product feed through Keap account and repeat all steps until we see green check mark icon next to Email Address cpumn in step 4 above . In case there is no green check mark icon then see troubleshooting guide given at end of this article. After completing all these steps then you will see that products added through this integration will be marked with green check mark icon in your store (see image below. You can edit this product feed directly from your Ecommerce account by clicking on ‘Edit Product Feed’ option available in Products section in your dashboard (see image below. You can also update this product feed manually by clicking on ‘Update Now’ button available in Products section in your dashboard (see image below.
