Integration of macOS Calendar and Webflow

macOS Calendar

  • macOS Calendar is a calendar application built in macOS. It was introduced with Mac OS X Leopard and is pre-loaded on every Mac since then.
  • The Calendar application can be found in the Dock or on the Launchpad.
  • On the top left corner, there is a date and time. You can change it by clicking the date and time.
  • Webflow

  • Webflow is a cloud-based platform built for designers to design beautiful websites and web apps without touching any code.
  • This was co-founded by Brad Frost, Jonathan Smiley and Chris Wright in 2013.
  • Webflow is an all-in-one spution that includes all the things you need to build, customize and manage your website like:
  • Visual editor
  • Drag & Drop builder
  • Live preview of your site as you build it
  • Multi-platform support (Mac, Windows, Linux)
  • Integration of macOS Calendar and Webflow

  • One of the best features that Webflow offers is the ability to create a custom template for each event when you build a new website or web app. You can also choose between different themes as well! For example, if you want to create a website for an event, you can choose from different themes such as. Wedding Template, Party Template, Business Template and many more! You can see the available templates by clicking the “Event” tab on the left panel of your site:
  • For this particular example, we will use the “Event” template. To get started, you simply drag and drop the elements you want. If you do not like how it looks, you can always tweak it to make it look like how you want it to be! Make sure to save it after every change you make so it will save it automatically! This feature is great because you don’t have to worry about breaking anything while you are building your website!
  • Another great feature that Webflow offers is you can add calendars on your website! As seen in the screenshot below, we placed a calendar on our homepage using Webflow’s drag and drop feature! You can also create events for each day of the week as well! To do this, click on the “Date” button on the left panel and scrpl down until you see the “Calendar” option:
  • On the left panel, click on “Calendar” and drag the calendar over to where you want it to be placed! That’s it! The calendar will automatically be added to your website! Let’s say you want to add an event for next week, simply click on the “Date” button again and select “Next Week”. You can add events by clicking on the “+” button at the bottom of your screen. Now, you should see a dropdown menu appear on your screen:
  • From there, choose between “Event” or “Birthday” depending on what you want to add! You can add an event by clicking on the “+” button at the bottom of your screen!
  • The process to integrate macOS Calendar and Webflow may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
