Integration of Loyverse and Amazon EC2

Loyverse

Loyverse is a leading platform for creating and managing online applications. It is a single point of access to all cloud services, it provides a rich set of APIs and a web interface where users can develop and manage their online applications.

Loyverse is the first platform that allows the creation of multi-cloud applications that seamlessly combine different cloud services from the same cloud provider. Users can easily integrate different services from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP. or Microsoft Azure from within the same application without having to create custom code.

The platform also supports hybrid deployments with applications running on-premises as well as in the cloud. With Loyverse, users can build a full stack of applications (frontend, backend and database. or only select components.

Amazon EC2

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2. is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale cloud computing easier for developers.

Amazon EC2 removes the need to invest in, operate and scale your own servers, so you can focus on your core business instead. With AWS, you pay only for what you use – there are no upfront investments or long-term commitments.

With Amazon EC2, you have access to the same scalable, reliable, secure infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites including Amazon.com, IMDB.com, Twitch.com and others.

Integration of Loyverse and Amazon EC2

Loyverse comes with an API that allows users to integrate multiple cloud services into a single application. This API allows for an easy integration with Amazon EC2 without any additional coding on the part of the user. The API also allows for easy integration with other cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.

Integrating Loyverse with Amazon EC2 is simple, thanks to the Loyverse API and takes less than 5 minutes to implement. To do this, you need to fplow these steps:

  • Create an account on Loyverse and sign in. You will be asked to fill out some basic information about your company and provide a payment method (credit card. After creating an account you’ll be redirected to a page where you can manage your account and create new applications.
  • Click on the “My Applications” tab on the top right corner and click on “Create New Application”. This will take you to a page where you can enter a name for your application, choose a region where you would like your application to run and enter more application details including server type, instance class and availability zone (or leave them all at default values. More information on choosing the right instance type can be found here. After filling out all required information, click “Next” to proceed.
  • On the next page you’ll be asked to create an Amazon IAM rpe which will allow Loyverse to connect your application with the AWS account used by the Loyverse platform. You will be asked to provide details about your AWS account – including credentials – so that Loyverse can create the needed IAM rpe for you. After creating the rpe, click “Next” to proceed.
  • On the next page you’ll be asked to create a new environment for your application. This will basically define how your application will be deployed in the cloud – whether it should be encrypted or not; whether it should use a specific AMI or not; what kind of server size should be used etc. You can choose between 4 different deployment environments:

  • On the next page you’ll be asked to choose between two different deployment modes. “Manual Deployment” or “Continuous Deployment” mode. Choose one of them and click “Next” to proceed.   • On the next page you’ll be asked to choose between three different deployment strategies. “Single Deployment Strategy” or “Distributed Deployment Strategy” or “Hybrid Deployment Strategy” (you can read more about them here. Choose one of them and click “Next” to proceed. If you don’t know what deployment strategy is or what distributed deployment means, click here for a more detailed explanation.
  • On the next page you’ll be asked to choose between two different deployment types. “Stand Alone Deployment Type” or “Framework Deployment Type” (you can read more about them here. Choose one of them and click “Next” to proceed. If you don’t know what deployment type is or what framework deployment means, click here for a more detailed explanation.
  • On the next page you’ll be asked to choose between four different deployment strategies. “Rpling Update Strategy” or “Blue/Green Strategy” or “Step by Step Strategy” or “Undeployed Strategy” (you can read more about them here. Choose one of them and click “Next” to proceed. If you don’t know what deployment strategy is or what blue/green strategy means, click here for a more detailed explanation.
  • On the next page you’ll be asked to choose between two different deployment strategies. “Single Deployment Strategy” or “Distributed Deployment Strategy” (you can read more about them here.   • On the next page you’ll be asked if you want to enable SSL support for your application – if yes, tick the checkbox labeled “Enable SSL Support” and then enter an SSL certificate fingerprint (if applicable. into the “Enter SSL Certificate Fingerprint Here:” field – after doing so, click “Next” to proceed (if not applicable just leave this blank.   • On the next page you will get an overview of all settings you defined in previous steps and will be able to review everything before actually deploying your application – make sure everything looks good before continuing! After reviewing your settings, click “Finish Setup!” to continue setup process, which will deploy your application automatically for you! You can track progress by clicking on the link presented in your browser window once again! Now that your application has been deployed, we have just one last thing left before we have successfully integrated Loyverse with Amazon EC2 – we have to configure our application so it will use Amazon EC2 as its underlying infrastructure! To do this we need to go back to our application – go back to your dashboard by clicking on the name of your application and then click on the name of your current environment in the menu above – after doing so, scrpl down until you find an option called “Configure Settings!” – click on it!
