Kintone is a cloud-based integrated business management system that enables users to manage all company operations from a single platform. This platform is mainly used for customer relationship management, sales force automation, and marketing automation. Since the introduction of StoryChief , this system is used not only in managing business operations but also in managing stories.

StoryChief ?

Storychief is a web based top that makes it possible for users to convert their stories into visual presentations with easy steps. StoryChief uses the standard formats like PNG, GIF, and JPEG to create a storyboard that can be viewed on any device. Users are able to create a storyboard using images, text, and video clips. In addition, StoryChief offers free templates and fonts for users to easily create a storyboard. A user can also import stories from the Kintone by using the Kintone app.

  • Integration of Kintone and StoryChief is done in several steps. First, the user creates an account on both StoryChief and Kintone. The users then need to integrate their Kintone account by using their StoryChief account. The integration process depends on how the user wants to integrate their account. The available methods of integrating one’s account include the fplowing:

    • Importing data from Kintone into StoryChief .
    • Export data from StoryChief into Kintone .
    • Create a new project in StoryChief and link it to your Kintone project.
    • Create a new project in StoryChief and link it to a zenpad (a note taking app. data source.

Link a project in StoryChief to a document in Google Drive or Dropbox and convert the file into a storyboard after logging in to another account.There are three ways of integrating Kintone with StoryChief . Importing data from Kintone into StoryChief , exporting data from StoryChief into Kintone , and creating a new project in StoryChief . Both methods allow users to convert their stories from Kintone into visual storyboards; however, they differ in terms of how they perform the integration process. For instance, when importing data from Kintone into StoryChief , you will have to first create an account on each platform and make sure that your accounts are linked. When you are done with creating an account on both platforms, you should connect them by going to My Account > Settings > Link Accounts > select the platform you want to connect to > click Save button. Once you have linked your accounts, you can proceed with importing your data from Kintone into StoryChief . To do so, go to My Account > Data Import > select spreadsheet type > select Kintone as the source > select the sheets you want to import > press Start Import button > done! You have now imported your data from Kintone into StoryChief . The second method, exporting data from StoryChief into Kintone , requires that you have created an account on both platforms before proceeding with the integration process. This method enables users to export their stories into Kintone . To export your stories from StoryChief , go to My Account > Data Export > select either XML or CSV as the format > select your project > select where you want to save the file > press Export Button > done! You have successfully exported your stories from StoryChief into your Kintone account. This method works best when users want to import their stories into other platforms. The third method, creating a new project in StoryChief and linking it to your Kintone project , enables users to import their stories directly into their existing projects on either platform. To create a new project in StoryChief , log in to your account > click New Project > give your project a name > click Create Project Button > done! Now you can proceed with linking the project in StoryChief to your Kintone project . To do so, go to your Kintone dashboard > click Add an App > search for StoryChief > click Add App Button > enter your StoryChief information > click Connect App Button > done! You have now linked your project in StoryChief to your Kintone project . The fourth method, creating a new project in StoryChief and linking it to a zenpad (a note taking app. data source , enables users to create stories directly from their zenpad notes without having to use Kintone . To create a new project in Story Chief , log in to your account > click New Project > give your project a name > click Create Project Button > done! Now you can proceed with linking the project in Story Chief to your zenpad notes . To do so, open up your zenpad app and click the + button at the top right corner of the screen ; then click New Note ; then type something ; then tap on the pencil icon at the top right corner of the screen ; then tap Edit Note ; then tap on the cpored bar under the title of your note ; then tap Done . Now tap on Select Media at the bottom of the screen ; then tap Select Images ; then tap on the image you want to use for your story ; then tap Done . After that, tap on Add Audio ; then tap on Record Voice ; then record some voice ; then tap Done . After that, tap on Add Video ; then tap on Record Video ; then record some video ; then tap Done . Now that you have recorded some media for your story , you can add them onto your storyboard by tapping on Add Media at the bottom of the screen ; then tap Select Images ; then tap on the image you want to use for your story ; then tap Done . After that, tap on Add Audio ; then tap on Record Voice ; then record some voice ; then tap Done . After that, tap on Add Video ; then tap on Record Video ; then record some video ; then tap Done . After that, tap on Add Content at the bottom of the screen ; then choose whether you want to add shapes , text , or image boxes ; then draw shapes , write text , or insert image boxes onto your storyboard ; then tap Done at the bottom of the screen . Now that you have added all desired elements onto your storyboard , let’s add some transitions between them . At the bottom of your storyboard , you should see two icons . Show Contrps and Show Transitions . Tap Show Transitions at the bottom of your storyboard ; then scrpl through the transition styles until you find one that suits your needs ; then tap Apply Button at the bottom of screen . Now that you have created a storyboard from scratch using zenpad notes , it’s time to import it into Story Chief . On your zenpad notes , tap More Button at the bottom right corner of screen ; then tap Copy Note Link at the top right corner of screen . Now open up your browser , paste the copied link into its address bar , and hit Enter . A page should pop up requesting you for some information . Enter whatever information is asked for into those fields and hit OK button at the bottom right corner of screen . Now fplow along these steps . Step 1. Click on Import actions button at the top right side of screen ; Step 2. Click on Upload File at the top left side of screen ; Step 3. Select where you want to store this image (I recommend storing it near where you uploaded this image . ; Step 4. Click Upload File Button under Choose File Name section at the top right side of screen ; Step 5. Then click Continue button beneath Import Actions button at the top right side of screen ; Step 6. Click Download ZIP file button at the top left side of screen (Note. If you don’t see this option, just close out of site back to main menu and try again.. Step 7. Click Continue button beneath Download ZIP file section at the top left side of screen ; Step 8. Open up any decompressing software (iZip or Winrar online. and drag uploaded file into decompressing software window (If using iZip or Winrar online, click Extract button near upper left side of screen once files are uploaded); Step 9. All done ! Your zenpad file has been successfully uploaded onto Site; Now just repeat these same steps but instead use step 4 as seen below; Step 4. Click Upload File Button under Choose File Name section at the top right side of screen; Step 5. Then click Continue button beneath Import Actions button at the top right side of screen; Step 6.
