  • Integration of kanban Top and Deskpro

  • Kanban Top and Deskpro can be integrated easily as they both use Jira as their issue tracker. Jira is an issue tracker developed by Atlassian and used by teams to track their work and stay on top of what is happening in their projects. It provides the ability to easily integrate with other products such as Confluence, Bitbucket and HipChat. To integrate kanban Top and Deskpro, you will need to connect them to Jira. In order to do this, you will need the fplowing:
  • Jira account Deskpro account Jira credentials from Deskpro Confluence account Confluence account Confluence credentials from Deskpro Bitbucket account Bitbucket account Bitbucket credentials from Deskpro HipChat account HipChat account HipChat credentials from Deskpro

  • Once you have all the required credentials, it is a simple three-step process to set up the integration between kanban Top and Deskpro:
  • Log into kanban Top Go to “Configuration” – “Integrations” – “Jira” In the “Add new integration” section, enter your Jira credentials Select your Jira project that you want to integrate with from the drop-down menu Click “Add Integration” Confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, link my project” Repeat step 4 for each additional project you want to link with kanban Top Confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, link my project” Repeat steps 1-7 for each additional Atlassian product you wish to integrate with kanban Top Confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, link my project” Repeat steps 1-7 for each additional Atlassian product you wish to integrate with Deskpro Confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, link my project”

  • If you are using Confluence, HipChat or Bitbucket instead of Deskpro, you can simply click on the corresponding “Configure” button within the integration section after connecting with Jira. Confluence can be integrated through the “Configure” button under “Confluence” integration. HipChat can be integrated through the “Configure” button under “HipChat” integration. Bitbucket can be integrated through the “Configure” button under “Bitbucket” integration. The integration process will appear similar to the one above for Jira.
  • If you are using another Atlassian product (such as Bamboo), you can integrate it with kanban Top through the “Configure” button under “Other Products” integration. The integration process will appear similar to the one above for Jira. However, it may require you to input your username and password for that product or use the API key/secret that has been provided for that product by Atlassian (for example, you could go to https://my.atlassian.com/download/addon/bamboo-api-key-generator. You will need to complete steps 1-7 again for each additional Atlassian product you wish to integrate with kanban Top. Confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, link my project”
