Integration of Instagram Business and ClickMeeting

“Instagram is the world’s most popular photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by Facebook, Inc. Launched in October 2010 exclusively on iOS, it was initially restricted to users aged 13 and over, and expanded to Android users in April 2012. The app allows users to upload photos and videos to the service to be viewed and shared. Users can set up an account with a username, which is displayed on their posts, as well as set up other accounts, known as ‘stories’. They can connect all of these accounts to Facebook and share posts from Instagram to any of these other networks. It was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, and launched in October 2010 as a free mobile app. A web-based version of the service was also released.

Initially, “Instagram” was a sound-alike of “instant camera”; however, the name was soon dropped in favor of its more common spelling, “Instagram”. In April 2012, seven months after being acquired for approximately US$1 billion by Facebook, Instagram was released for Android phones outside of the United States. In June 2012, support for Instagram feeds was added to the main Instagram app.

The use of Instagram has increased dramatically in recent years, reaching one million active users in September 2011. As of April 2012, 15 million users have registered for new accounts, with 400 million pictures uploaded to the service. As of September 2013, 65 million users post daily on Instagram; this corresponds to about one post every 13 seconds. Instagram has announced plans to launch an app for Windows Phone and is working on one for Windows 8.1. In October 2013, it was announced that Instagram had raised US$50 million from venture capitalists for a share of the company, bringing the total amount raised to $600 million since March 2012.

According to the company, there are more than 75 million monthly active users as of December 2013 with over 300 million pictures posted to date. In November 2014, Instagram had 400 million users globally.

With the continued growth of Instagram, many celebrities moved from using Twitter to using Instagram due to Twitter’s character limit and the website’s use of a chronpogical timeline. With more than 130 million active users as of March 2015 and 16 billion photographs uploaded as of August 2016, Instagram is one of the most popular sites on the Internet and has been called “one of the fastest-growing technpogy services ever”.” (Wikipedia)
