IMAP by Connect is a plugin that allows you to connect your WordPress website to your email account. This plugin is compatible with all the most popular email clients, including Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and many others. For more information on the plugin, see the official documentation on the plugin’s homepage.
WooCommerce is the most popular platform for creating an online store. It has become so popular because of its wide range of features, like the integration of plugins like IMAP by Connect. The popularity of WooCommerce means it is easy to find support when needed.
First, install and activate both plugins. To do this, go to the WordPress admin area and select Plugins > Add New. Search for “IMAP by Connect” and click Install Now. Search for “WooCommerce” and click Install Now. Now that both plugins are activated, you can begin setting up your online store! First, go to WooCommerce > Settings > General. You will need to enter some information about your store in the settings here. Next, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout. Here you can set up your shipping details, payment gateways, etc. This is important if you want to have an online store with products for sale. Finally, go to WooCommerce > Products > Add Product. You can add new products to your store here. Once your store is up and running, you can start actually using IMAP by Connect! To do this, go to Settings > IMAP by Connect on the WordPress admin area. On the plugin’s settings page, click on the “View configuration” button under Gmail tab. You will be prompted to log into your Google account. Once you do so, you will be taken to a page where you must enter your Google account credentials. After entering these details, check if your credentials are correct by clicking on the “Verify” button. If everything was entered correctly, then you should get a message that your credentials are OK! You can also change more options on this page. Next, go to the fpder list area on the left side of the plugin’s settings page. Here you can change what fpders you want to sync with your WordPress website. The default fpders are Inbox/Drafts/Sent Mail/Spam/Trash/Starred, but you can always add or remove as many as you like! Once you’ve finished configuring everything, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the settings page. Congratulations! You now have a fully-functional online store integrated with IMAP by Connect and WooCommerce!
