Thanks to integration of HubSpot CRM and Asset Panda, you can now manage everything related to assets in one place. This allows you to save time, effort and money while freeing up resources in your organization. You can also use this integration to drive ROI by leveraging the power of these two tops.

  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s Reporting feature to generate reports about your equipment and assets. The report will give you detailed information about each piece of equipment along with its location and the current owner. From here, you can share any item using HubSpot’s built-in sharing capabilities. You can also embed it in your calendar or send it via email.
  • Use the Asset Panda’s asset management function to log the life cycle of your equipment. For example, if you bought a new piece of equipment on June 1st, 2017, you can add this date as the acquisition date in Asset Panda. Then, you can choose the depreciation method from our 5 methods. When you start entering asset details in Asset Panda (such as cost, depreciation rate, book value), Asset Panda will automatically calculate the depreciation expense that matches the depreciation method you have chosen. You can also use this feature to flag important events within the life cycle of an asset such as maintenance or reallocation. In addition, you can set up a reminder for yourself or others to take action in a certain amount of time. This is particularly helpful when your equipment needs maintenance or if it is due for a reallocation.
  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s asset tagging feature to tag your assets. These tags will then appear in the asset detail page in Asset Panda so that you can quickly find all your assets with a specific tag. Here are some examples of tags you may want to add to your assets. “Purchased in 2017”, “Maintenance Due 2018”, “Not for Sale”, etc. This way, you can easily filter out all your assets that meet your criteria and export them in Excel or PDF format. Or you can send them directly to other users within your organization or outside of it (for example, customers. They will be able to see all the important information about your assets at a glance so that they can make informed decisions about purchasing an asset from you.
  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s tag/asset relationship feature to link various tags of an asset with its corresponding asset in Asset Panda. That way, when someone looks up an asset through HubSpot CRM’s reporting feature, they can directly see all its relevant tags in one convenient location. When someone clicks on a specific tag in HubSpot CRM, they will be able to see all related assets in Asset Panda. This feature allows stakehpders to easily find the information they need without wasting time digging through multiple documents and spreadsheets. Here are some examples of tags that are useful to link with an asset. “If Spd” tag – It lets others know that this particular piece of equipment can only be spd after certain conditions are met (such as reaching its end-of-life. “Special Condition Tag” tag – It makes sure that certain assets are not accidentally reassigned (or spd. before certain events or procedures are completed (such as maintenance or reallocation. “Personnel Tag” tag – It will help you keep track of who is currently assigned to an asset and who should be handling it next time there is a maintenance issue or a reallocation issue. “Expiration Date Tag” tag – It lets others know when an asset should be removed from inventory because it is nearing its expiration date (for example, after 10 years since purchase.
  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s due date alert feature to set up reminders for things that need to be done within a certain amount of time. For example, when you create a new asset and assign a person as its owner, you can set up a reminder for that person in three months time. This way, you will always know if someone hasn’t notified you about something related to an asset yet (for example during maintenance. Another good use case would be setting up an alert for yourself reminding you when it is time to reallocate assets because they are getting pd (or don’t work as well as they used to. You could also set up an alert reminding you when it is time to reassign an asset because someone else needs it more than you do right now (such as when a new employee starts working on a project.
  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s free form fields feature to add additional details about your equipment that aren’t captured anywhere else (such as “purchase reason” or “date of last maintenance checkup”. These fields will then appear in Asset Panda so that whenever someone looks up your equipment through HubSpot CRM’s reporting feature, they will be able to see every detail about it including those added through HubSpot CRM. In this example, I have added information about why I purchased this particular asset (i.e., the purpose), where I purchased it from (i.e., the vendor), and when I first used it (i.e., what project I used it on. Now whenever anyone logs into HubSpot CRM to view this asset’s report, they will see all these details as well:

  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s contact list feature to add contacts who are responsible for some of your equipment in Asset Panda. Here is how this works. Let’s say John Doe bought a laser printer from Acme Inc. on November 1st, 2016 and he listed you as his contact with Acme Inc.. If John Doe uses HubSpot CRM to report this purchase and mentions that you are his contact at Acme Inc., then Acme Inc. will automatically get added to your contact list with HubSpot CRM as well. Then, anytime someone looks up this laser printer through HubSpot CRM, Acme Inc. will appear on the contact list section so that people know who they need to send any questions or requests related to this particular asset:
  • Use the HubSpot CRM’s email scheduling feature to schedule emails that will go out automatically based on certain criteria such as date range or event type (such as adding contact details for specific companies who bought assets from you. This feature works great for things such as sending newsletters or automated customer surveys and feedback forms related to specific assets:
