The integration of Harvest and Vimeo allows users to store their research information in both programs, thus making it easier for them to retrieve information from both the programs. As these two programs are integrated with each other, there is no need for users to reenter information into any one of the programs and also saves them time and effort. The first step of integrating the programs is to establish a connection between Harvest and Vimeo, which can be done by creating a single account for both the programs. Users then select the option "Connect Accounts" from the Account Settings page on Harvest. The next step is to specify if you want to connect your account using an email address or username and password. If you use an existing email address or username and password you can choose to connect accounts by entering your username and password or by entering your email address and fplowing the instructions. If you do not have an existing username and password you can request one via email and Harvest will send you an email asking you to verify your email address. Once you receive the email, fplow the instructions to set up an account on Harvest and once it is created you will be able to link your existing Harvest account with your new one. To link your Harvest account to Vimeo simply visit Vimeo's Account Settings page, enter your Vimeo username or email address, click submit. Then enter your Harvest username or email address fplowed by your Harvest password click submit. If you have not set up an account on Harvest yet, you will receive an email containing your Harvest username or email address along with your password. You can then visit Harvest's Account Settings page to enter your username or email address, enter your password and click submit to link your accounts together. Once these steps are completed you will be able to synchronize your cplections between Harvest and Vimeo. Based on your preferences settings you can synchronize all or selected items from the fplowing list. Events, Videos, Photos, Assignment Details, Files, Notes, Submissions, Directories, Metadata, Metadata Sources, Personal Tags, Tags, Categorization Schemes, Categorizations, Labels for Videos, Labels for Events/Assignment Details/Files/Notes. After this synchronization process is complete you will be able to see all the data from both Harvest and Vimeo together in one location under My Cplections tab in Harvest.
The integration of Harvest and Vimeo makes it easy for users to store their research data in both programs thus making it easier for them to retrieve information from both the programs. This integration saves time because there is no need for users to reenter information into any one of the programs thus saving them time and effort. The Harvest-Vimeo integration also helps users organize their data better as they will be able to see all their data in one location. Another benefit associated with this integration is that users can quickly share their research information with other cplaborators who may not have access to other software programs like CCMS or Sharepoint, but they can still access this information through Vimeo. This integration also works well with other software programs like CCMS/Sharepoint as it allows users to synchronize their cplections between Harvest and other software programs like CCMS/Sharepoint. It also makes it easier for users to create links between their research data stored in different programs like CCMS/Sharepoint and Vimeo because they will be able to see all their data in one location which means that even if they create links between their data stored in different programs like CCMS/Sharepoint they will be able to see these links within the same location (See figure 2.
In conclusion I have discussed about the integration of Harvest and Vimeo which allows users to store their research data in both programs thus making it easier for them to retrieve information from both the programs.
