The Habitica website states that “Habitica is a free habit-building app + website that treats your life like a rpeplaying game.”
Nutshell is a “free web-based personal productivity top that helps you organize and manage your tasks, to-do lists, and projects.”
I have been using Habitica for a few months now, and it has helped me stay on track with my work and personal goals. I have been using Nutshell for a few weeks now, and it has been super helpful in organizing my tasks and to-do lists. With Habitica, I can add habits to my daily to-do list when I complete a goal in the corresponding category in Nutshell. For example, if I complete a goal in a category in Nutshell called “studying”, then I will add a “study” habit to my daily to-do list in Habitica. Also, I can add habits in Nutshell to target specific goals in Habitica. For example, if I want to get better at drawing, I can add a habit such as “practice drawing” in Nutshell to my daily to-do list in Habitica. This way, I will get reminders to practice drawing every day.
By using both Habitica and Nutshell together, I am able to accomplish more goals and stay organized with several different categories of goals and tasks. I do not have to go back and forth between multiple applications to accomplish all the goals that I would like to accomplish in a day. However, one downside of this integration is that sometimes there can be many notifications from both Habitica and Nutshell when something is completed or something needs to be done. That often causes me to get distracted because I am constantly getting notifications from both applications. I would like for there to be an option in settings where notifications could be turned off if there are too many notifications at one time. Also, if I am using Nutshell and doing something that requires internet access, then notifications from Habitica will not show up while I am using Nutshell. Also, I would like for there to be an option where notifications could be set up differently depending on whether the computer is online or offline. For example, I could set up notifications with different sounds if the computer is offline. However, these are only suggestions that might make the integration between Habitica and Nutshell more efficient and easier to use. Overall, the integration between these two applications has been very helpful in keeping me organized with my goals. It has kept me on track even though there are always distractions around me.
The process to integrate Habitica and Nutshell may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
