Gravity Forms is a WordPress plugin that allows users to create forms in WordPress. The Gravity Forms plugin has many features, including a form designer, conditional logic, and integration with PayPal, Stripe, and Authorize.net.
BulkGate was developed by a company called Proteus Themes. It is a powerful bulk email plugin that integrates with other plugins such as Gravity Forms.
The Gravity Forms plugin enables site owners to create forms in their website without any coding knowledge. Some features of Gravity Forms include conditional logic and integration with PayPal, Stripe, and Authorize.net for payment management. This makes the Gravity Forms plugin one of the most powerful form plugins available and arguably the most popular form plugin.
However, in order to send emails from Gravity Forms, you first have to set up an SMTP account and configure your website’s DNS records. If you want to send individual emails from each form submission, then you also have to install a plugin such as SendGrid or Mailgun on your website. In addition, you have to configure your SMTP account with the email address of each service.
Before installing BulkGate, you should first make sure that your website is able to send emails without any restrictions in place. You should also ensure that your hosting provider supports the PHP mail function because BulkGate uses it to send emails.
Next, install BulkGate on your website using the instructions on its official website. After installing BulkGate, configure it and add the form(s. that you want to use it with. When using BulkGate with Gravity Forms, the steps are very similar to creating a form. However, some additional configurations are required to ensure that emails are sent properly without any issues.
When creating a new form in Gravity Forms, select BulkGate from the Add-on dropdown menu. When adding fields to your form, use the BulkGate Email field for the email address of each recipient. Tick the option “Send Email” if you want individual emails to be sent for each form submission. Otherwise, leave this option unticked if you only want to receive an overview of all submissions (this feature is known as a mass mailing. In addition, add the email address of your SMTP server in the SMTP Server field (if you do not know this information, contact your hosting provider. Finally, select “Send Flat File” if you want to send a flat file or “Send XML File” if you want to send an XML file (the feature will not work if you do not select either option. Once you have added all your fields and configured them correctly, save your new form. You will notice that Email and SMTP fields appear in the Additional Settings > BulkGate section of your new form. These two fields are used to configure BulkGate settings for your form submissions. In the Email field, enter the To field of each email recipient separated by commas. In the SMTP field, enter the server address of your SMTP server and select the port number (usually 25 or 587. For example, if you are integrating Gravity Forms with SendGrid, enter something like smtp.sendgrid.net:587 . Finally, click Save Changes at the bottom of your form editor and test your form by submitting some dummy data. If everything goes well, then congratulations!
