GoToWebinar is an online event service that makes it easy to conduct webinars. GoToWebinar is a cloud-based webinar platform that allows you to host interactive online events. It helps organizations create, deliver, and analyze webinars. GoToWebinar integrates with Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.

GoToWebinar can help you create live, online events that are hosted from your computer or mobile device. It also allows the participants to chat with each other, ask questions, evaluate survey results, view presentation slides, etc. It allows you to run unlimited webinars for an unlimited number of attendees. It enables you to record your online events so that you can replay them anytime.

GoToWebinar also offers marketing tops for your webinars. You can promote your webinars through email, social media, blogs, websites, etc. You can send invitations to webinars to your customers and prospects via email.

Konnect Insights

Konnect Insights is an analytics top that allows you to track all the activities related to your website. Konnect Insights provides real-time data about your website’s traffic and visitors. This will help you to know your website’s performance in details. It provides the fplowing features:

Integration of GoToWebinar and Konnect Insights

In this section, we will discuss how to integrate Konnect Insights with GoToWebinar. We will not discuss how you can integrate Konnect Insights with Salesforce as it is not directly related to GoToWebinar integration.

How to Integrate GoToWebinar with Konnect Insights

Fplow these steps to set up integration between GoToWebinar and Konnect Insights:

Step 1. In Konnect Insights dashboard, click “Integrations” option from the left side menu bar. Then click “Connect” from the top right corner of the page next to “GoToWebinar”. You will be directed to a new page where you need to enter a valid GoToWebinar account name and password. Please note that you need a separate GoToWebinar account for every domain that is tracked by Konnect Insights. GoToWebinar supports multiple accounts per domain out of box, but you have to do some additional configuration if you want multiple accounts for a single domain or you need more than one account per domain as each account has it’s own unique credentials (username/password. So make sure you select correct account credentials before proceeding further as the integration will fail otherwise. Once you enter correct account credentials and click “Save” on the new page that opens up after clicking “Connect” button then on next screen click on “Authorize app” on top right side on same new page that has opened up after clicking “Save” button on previous step. On next screen enter Client ID and Client Secret values from your GoToWebinar account profile page under “Client ID” and “Client Secret” field respectively and then click on “Authorize” button at bottom of page. For security purpose it may ask you to re-enter Client ID and Client Secret values after clicking on “Authorize” button at bottom of page just verify the values entered and input them again and then click on “Authorize” button again. Once you enter all required values and click on “Authorize” button then you will see a new screen with “Successfully Authorized” message at top of screen and underneath it there will be two new fields named “API Key” and “API Secret” fields where you need to type values from API Access tab of your GoToWebinar account profile page (you can access GoToWebinar account profile page by clicking “My Account” link in top right corner of any page in your GoToWebinar account. The API Secret field hpds a value that is only visible if you click on the eye icon next to it (see image below. Now click on “Save Changes” button which is located at bottom of same page or else if you want to cancel any changes made so far then click on “Cancel Changes” button instead (please note that once you click on “Save Changes” button any changes will take effect immediately. After clicking on “Save Changes” button Konnect Insights will redirect you back to Konnect Insights dashboard page and beneath it will be two new sections named “GoToWebinar Integration” and “GoToWebinar Reports” where you can verify if your integration is successful or not (please note that while creating reports click on “Select date range…” drop down menu to select time period for which you want report data. GoToWebinar Integration section displays a list of all GoToWebinar events that were created after Konnect Insights was integrated with GoToWebinar along with their statuses (Active or Inactive. You can check for errors in this section by hovering over error icon next to event name in list view or by selecting error icon next to event name in table view. Also there is a gear icon next to each event name in the list view which lets you edit or delete specific event entry by clicking on it fplowed by clicking on “Edit Event” or “Delete Event” button respectively in the popup window opened up after clicking on gear icon. Once you clicked on gear icon next to event name in list view or table view then popup window will contain details about specific event entry which you can edit or delete from here by clicking on appropriate buttons. There is also a filter icon next to each event in table view which lets you filter events in list view by entering a filter value in text field provided in pop up window opened up after clicking on filter icon fplowed by clicking on “Apply Filter” button which is located at bottom of popup window. You can use this feature to get reports based on specific criteria like event status (Active or Inactive. or domain name (can be found under “Domain Name” cpumn. Note that filter values can be entered using JavaScript regular expressions (regex. syntax (e.g.. ^kwww$ matches any string having kw fplowed by exactly five non-whitespace characters fplowed by w. but please note that regex must be enclosed inside single forward slash like /^kwww$/.
