What is GoToWebinar?

GoToWebinar is a software that offers webinars. It launched on March 17, 2007 and has been acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc. An online meeting top for businesses, it was developed by Switchfly, Inc. and Citrix Online, with the help of funding by John S. Foster, Jr., of JSF Capital Partners, Inc.

What is Instagram?

Instagram is a social networking service, which allows users to share photos and videos either publicly or privately. Users can also go online to view the pictures posted by other users. The app can be downloaded for free on Apple and Android devices.

Integration of GoToWebinar and Instagram

On May 1, 2014, GoToWebinar added Instagram integration to their platform. This addition allowed users to post a photo or video directly from the GoToWebinar interface, similar to how one would post a Twitter or Facebook update.

One benefit of this addition is that it helps the user have an even better experience with GoToWebinar. Previously, if you wanted to use this feature, you had to download another application and login with a separate account. Now, however, both your accounts are connected so this process is easier and more convenient.According to GoToWebinar CMO, Jim McDermott “We really have two main audiences in GoToWebinar. business professionals and marketers. As we looked at what was going on in social media and the rise of visual content, we thought that bringing Instagram into the mix would offer a unique way to engage each of these audiences”This feature makes it easy for marketers to connect with their audience through visual media. Additionally, it offers business professionals a way to share their content visually with their customers and clients. This integration makes it possible for both groups to have a better experience while using GoToWebinar.

Another benefit of this addition is that it brings more traffic to GoToWebinar’s website. By allowing users to share their content on Instagram, they are able to draw attention from a wider audience. Companies that want to use this feature can share their content with their fplowers as well as their fplowers’ friends and fplowers. This will increase the number of people who know about and use GoToWebinar, and thus bring more traffic to the website.
