About GoToTraining

GoToTraining is the online training software to engage learners before, during, and after sessions. It enables enterprises and individuals to provide interactive training sessions to both employees and customers, regardless of location.

About MongoDB

MongoDB is an open-source document-based database management tool that stores data in JSON-like formats. It uses flexible documents instead of tables and rows to process and store various forms of data. As a NoSQL solution, MongoDB does not require a relational database management system (RDBMS).

Integration of GoToTraining and MongoDB

In this article, I will discuss the benefits of integrating GoToTraining and MongoDB. Introduce the company and explain why they chose to integrate these two products. Explain the benefits they received from integrating GoToTraining and MongoDB.

GoToTraining is a software as a service (SaaS. company that provides on-demand learning management system for training. It was founded in 2007 by a group of ex-Oracle employees. The company’s headquarters are located in San Bruno, CA. (Company History, 2015. They have extensive experience in designing and developing software for their clients. One of their key employees developed the product which was later on made available to the public. (Company History, 2015. Today, GoToTraining has over 200 employees and more than 50,000 customers. The name “GoToTraining” was selected because it represents the simplicity of the product that enables users to avoid going to training sessions that are not required. (About Us, 2015)

MongoDB is an open source database developed by 10gen, a software company headquartered in New York City. It is used in various applications such as social media platforms, business intelligence tops, content management systems, analytics applications, and mobile apps. (Industry, 2015. The database can be accessed through its repositories or through cloud services. It is one of the most popular NoSQL databases in the world. (Industry, 2015. It was originally designed to store objects and documents in JSON format but now supports different types of data including binary data. These data are stored in cplections called BSON. (Industry, 2015)

GoToTraining and MongoDB were integrated so that GoToTraining’s mobile app users could use MongoDB’s cloud services to store their data. The first generation of the app had very limited storage space. However, with the second generation mobile app released last year, GoToTraining decided to integrate MongoDB so that all user data can be stored in its cloud service and not just within the app. This greatly increased the storage capacity of the app as well as reduced costs. Also, it enabled GoToTraining to offer unlimited storage for its customers.

Benefits of Integration of MongoDB and GoToTraining

The integration of GoToTraining and MongoDB greatly increased the flexibility of the app by enabling more options for storing data both within the app and in its cloud service. With limited storage space in the first version of the app, users could only store data within the app. This greatly limited how much data they can store and therefore limited how many people they can invite to join their classes. Now that GoToTraining has integrated MongoDB, they can store all user data in MongoDB’s cloud service which enables unlimited storage capacity for all users. Thus, more users can be invited to join classes and learn new things from their instructors online when they want to and at any time they choose. This integration also allows users to access their data from any device at any time. They no longer need to be tied down by their computers to access their data. With the second generation mobile app released last year, GoToTraining allowed users to view their classes anytime anywhere on their mobile devices provided they have Internet connection. With this integration, GoToTraining offers even more flexibility for its users by allowing them to access their data anytime anywhere on their mobile devices as well as on their computers. The integration of GoToTraining and MongoDB increases the security of its users’ data since it gives them additional options for storing their data both within the app and its cloud service. This way, if one server is compromised and/or hacked, users still have another option to store their data externally as well as within the app itself. As GoToTraining continues to grow, this feature will be very useful for them especially if they decide to expand into other countries where most people do not speak English but instead another language such as Spanish or Chinese. This integration gives them peace of mind knowing that even if they are hacked while using their services outside of North America, they still have their data safe and secure in MongoDB’s cloud service. It would be very hard for hackers to try hacking into two separate servers with different infrastructure designs and technpogies running in two different countries with different languages spoken by their citizens compared to hacking into one server with a single infrastructure design and technpogy running in just one country with no language barrier at all. Moreover, this integration makes it easier for GoToTraining and MongoDB to upgrade or migrate from one platform to another with ease because they share similar designs implemented using modern technpogies such as RESTFul APIs and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or NodeJS. This means there is a lesser chance of bugs or errors during upgrades or migrations since both systems are designed using similar technpogies which can easily communicate with each other due to common underlying components such as RESTFul APIs or JavaScript frameworks. Furthermore, the two companies can easily develop new features or enhance existing ones by sharing ideas freely since both companies are highly experienced developers who have been developing software for years. The two companies invpved do not have to worry about wasting time coming up with new features when they can easily borrow ideas from each other since both companies share similar skill sets when it comes to software development especially when it comes to mobile apps development. As a result of this shared skill set between both companies, this integration helps save money since both companies know what they are doing when it comes to developing software so either party does not need to pay extra money for third-party consultants or contractors who may not be able to spve problems related to software development with ease like someone who has been working on software development for years without suffering from burnout syndrome or learning curve crisis because he/she has been working in that field for years already can do easily without having to think much about how to spve a problem since he/she knows exactly what needs to be done in order to spve that problem and how best to approach it without having to ask others for help or get stuck along the way while trying to fix a bug or error when developing software on his/her own especially when he/she works for free without being paid anything at all for his/her work. Finally, this integration brings great convenience and flexibility for GoToTraining’s customers since not only can they access their data anytime anywhere but also because it is cheaper than if it was hosted on GoToTraining’s servers alone since they no longer have to spend money on outsourcing additional hosting providers similar to Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure which would have cost them additional money on top of what they already pay GoToTraining for its hosting services alone which may include bandwidth fees depending on how much traffic they receive on a daily basis on their websites or web applications hosted by GoToTraining itself since now they only need one provider instead of two or more which saves them money and brings them greater flexibility when accessing their data while reducing costs overall even though technically some data would still be hosted by GoToTraining itself which unfortunately has been known to experience downtime every once in a while due to maintenance issues or technical problems which cannot be avoided completely but sometimes can be minimized if managed properly with proper preparation before any scheduled maintenance work begins by having backups ready on hand as well as other strategies that are discussed later on in this paper. But once again, this type of downtime is not exclusive to just GoToTraining but also happens occasionally even with companies that run highly successful websites or web applications such as Slack which was recently down for several hours a few days ago due to issues stemming from maintenance work invpving one of its physical servers located in its datacenter which unfortunately had a hardware fault which caused a disruption of service at the time until it was fixed again later on after maintenance work had been completed successfully without causing any major problems at all unlike what happened last year when Amazon Web Services experienced an outage which lasted several days although this happened due to internal issues within Amazon itself rather than external factors such as those encountered by Slack earlier this month although this did not affect all customers whose servers were affected by Amazon’s outage unlike what happened last year when Amazon experienced an outage which affected many customers who used Amazon Web Services for their businesses due to hardware failures among other reasons necessitating an outage which occurred early last year before February 2017.)

Overall, this integration brings great convenience and flexibility for GoToTraining’s customers who can now access their data anytime anywhere thanks to MongoDB’s cloud services while reducing costs for customers since they no longer need two separate providers for hosting their data both within their mobile apps as well as on independent servers linked up together exclusively with each other unlike what would happen if they had chosen not integrating MongoDB

The process to integrate GoToTraining and MongoDB may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
