All files uploaded to Connect are instantly available in your account and can be downloaded anytime, anywhere. You can also invite others to view, edit, comment on or upload files. IMAP by Connect is great for sharing project plans, sales presentations, design documents, RFPs, marketing materials, training manuals or any other type of large data files.
GoToTraining and IMAP by Connect integration enables users to schedule training sessions using GoToTraining and then invite attendees using IMAP by Connect.
Before integrating the two applications, users need to install the GoToTraining plug-in into their IMAP by Connect account. The GoToTraining plug-in allows users to schedule the meeting in their calendar (iCal. or on their desktop. Once the GoToTraining plug-in is installed into an account, users can add the GoToTraining calendar into their Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. This will allow attendees to add the event directly from their calendar. After adding the GoToTraining plug-in into an account, users have the ability to schedule a meeting using GoToTraining and then add attendees using IMAP by Connect. Users have a maximum of 15 minutes to add attendees before the meeting starts so they must acknowledge being available within that time frame. If a user does not add themselves as an attendee within 15 minutes of the scheduled time of the meeting then they will be unable to attend the meeting since they were not added prior to it starting. In addition, if a user does not add themselves as an attendee within 15 minutes after the scheduled time of the meeting then they will not be able to join mid-meeting due to security reasons. Therefore, users should ensure they add themselves as an attendee prior to 15 minutes after the scheduled time of a meeting or else they will not be able to join mid-meeting.
In order for a user to add themselves as an attendee prior to 15 minutes after a scheduled meeting time they must go to https://www.connect.com/meetingmanager and click on "Meetings Scheduled" which will list all meetings scheduled in their account. From there users can add themselves as an attendee for any meeting that has already been scheduled. Users can then click on “Add Yourself” which will take them through the sign up process and they will be signed in and able to attend any meeting that has already been scheduled in their account.
Users can also add themselves as an attendee mid-meeting by going to https://www.connect.com/meetingmanager#meetings and clicking on “View Your Upcoming Meetings” which will take them through the upcoming meetings page where users can click on “Join Meeting” and sign in with their credentials and join any meeting that has already been scheduled in their account.
