Google Tasks is a task management top that is part of the Google suite of applications. It works very simply in that it allows users to create tasks, assign them to other people, and check off completed tasks.
ShipStation is an eCommerce shipping platform that allows users to integrate the shipping aspect of their business with the other aspects of their business. This means that sales data can be automatically imported into ShipStation to enable shipping of orders. Not only that, but customers can also track their orders through ShipStation at all times. Customers are able to see exactly when their order was packed, when it was shipped, and what carrier it was shipped with.
The integration of Google Tasks and ShipStation allows the user to access the features of both of these applications directly from within ShipStation. This enables the user to create a task to ship an order directly from within ShipStation. An example of this is shown below:
As you can see from the image above, you are able to select the carrier that you would like to use for shipping your order, as well as manually input the tracking number for your order. This will then allow you to create a task in Google Tasks that will show the status of your order on the task itself (as shown below):
The integration of these two applications allows users to save time by not having to enter information into multiple different applications in order to complete their workflow. This enables users to better manage their workflow without missing important steps.
The process to integrate Google Tasks and ShipStation may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
