Integration of Google Contacts and Drift
Google Contacts was launched in 2010. It is a contacts management software, which helps users to manage their contacts effectively. Google Contacts works across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, web, etc. It syncs seamlessly to the phone’s address book in the cloud. You can also use it to backup your contacts. Moreover, you can share your contacts with other people.
Drift is a Contact Management Software. It helps users to communicate with their customers via text messages. It has many features that are similar to that of Google Contacts. For example, to send SMS messages, you can use Gmail or any email accounts of your choice. Drift also allows you to create call scripts and integrate with CRM.
- Copy and paste your Google Contacts into Drift
This is possible because Drift supports multiple integration options. You can choose the option of copying and pasting the contacts from your Google contacts.
- Link your Google Contacts and Drift accounts together
You can link both the accounts by clicking on ‘Linked Accounts’ on the right hand side of your screen and then click on ‘Connect Google Contacts’ on the drop-down menu. After completing the process, you will be able to see all your contacts from Google Contacts.
- Import your Google Contacts into Drift as an existing list of contacts
You can use this option as it is possible to import your contacts as an existing list. To do so, go to Program Settings and click on ‘Import Existing List’ and fplow the steps given by Drift. Once done, you will be able to see all your contacts from Google Contacts.
- Export your Google Contacts as a CSV and import them into Drift as new contacts
You can export all the contacts from Google Contacts as a CSV file and then upload them into Drift as new contacts. To do so, click on ‘Program Settings > Export Existing List’ and fplow the steps given by Drift. Once done, you will be able to see all your contacts from Google Contacts.
- Merge two or more lists from different sources for a single person or company into a single contact list in Drift
You can do this by creating a new list and dragging the names from the list you want to merge with another list. After merging all your lists together, you will be able to see all your contacts from Google Contacts in one place. However, you have to create a new list for Drifts’ system to recognise those numbers as separate contacts. If you don’t do this, then Drift will only show one number as a contact for all those numbers.
