MacOS Calendar is a calendar application developed by Apple Inc. for macOS. It is preinstalled on every Mac and is the default calendar application on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 5 or later. The first calendar application on Macintosh computers was called Calendar 1.0, included in the 1985 original release of the Macintosh operating system. In early versions, users could add events by typing them in manually or by importing them from Applescripted databases. In 2002, the basic calendar syncing from iCal to Exchange was added. In 2007, a new application called iCal was released, replacing both Calendar and iCal on the Macintosh, while only adding a new app called "iCal" for the iPhone. A companion app called "iCal" was released for Windows computers in 2008, but it was discontinued in 2013 when iCloud was launched. The current version of Calendar was introduced in macOS Mojave in 2018, alongside the redesigned Mac App Store.
Integration of Google Ads and macOS Calendar allows Mac users to quickly create an event in Calendar by advertising their business on Google Ads. Business owners can advertise their business on Google Ads using PPC or CPC campaigns, which would then automatically sync to their Google Ads account. When creating an event in Calendar, users would simply click on the “Ads” button at the top of the screen, where they would then see an event labeled “Ad”. This event would be able to be filled out entirely in Calendar, so users would not have to open separate applications to fill out event information. This integration can help Mac users organize their busy lives by combining two useful programs into one seamless program.
