Integration of GitHub and LeadFuze

GitHub and LeadFuze are software companies that have a number of things in common. Both companies have shown rapid growth over the years; both companies have been consistently listed as top performers; and both companies make money by providing certain services to clients, mostly businesses.

Both of these companies have a rich history behind them.

GitHub is a web-based hosting service for projects that use the Git revision contrp system. It was launched in April 2008 by Tom Preston-Werner, Chris Wanstrath, and PJ Hyett after they had developed the Grit File Manager and decided to put it online. Since its inception, GitHub has grown to host more than 10 million projects using Git. The company is based in San Francisco, California with satellite offices in London, England and Berlin, Germany. GitHub is mostly used by developers to host their projects, but it can be used to host any type of project. Its features include a streamlined issue tracker, code review, feature requests, wikis, and continuous integration. GitHub offers free accounts with unlimited private repositories while paid accounts offer more features including wikis, issue management, code review tops, team management tops, and enterprise support. It is used by many notable companies from different industries including IBM, Microsoft, NASA, Amazon Web Services, and Facebook. GitHub was acquired by Microsoft in June 2018 for $7.5 billion in stock.

LeadFuze is a software company based out of Boston that provides marketing automation software designed specifically for sales teams. The company was founded in 2011 by two former HubSpot employees after they felt that HubSpot's marketing software did not function well for sales teams. The company started out of Y Combinator's startup incubator program and went on to raise $1 million in seed funding from a group of investors that included Paul Graham, SV Angel, Yuri Milner, and Ron Conway. LeadFuze's software helps sales teams manage their leads and fplow up effectively. Its features include lead scoring using artificial intelligence, advanced lead routing rules, automated email templates, and phone dialers to call leads directly from within the software platform. LeadFuze also offers a freemium model where users can try out its software for free for 30 days before deciding whether or not they want to commit to a paid plan. At the end of 2015, LeadFuze raised another $18 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Ventures Partners with participation from existing backers including Kapor Capital and General Catalyst Partners.

There are several ways that these two companies could work together to achieve great results.
