Integration of GitHub and Device Magic

In this section I will introduce the topic, explain the purpose of the article, and provide a brief overview of the article.

GitHub is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision contrp system. It offers all of the distributed version contrp and source code management functionality of Git as well as adding its own features. It provides access contrp and several cplaboration features such as bug tracking, feature requests, task management, and wikis for every project.

Device Magic?

Device Magic is a device monitoring platform that allows developers to monitor their devices from anywhere. Device Magic has been used by thousands of companies to monitor billions of devices worldwide. Thousands of customers rely on Device Magic to ensure that their devices are up and running. Device Magic monitors nearly any device - from phones and tablets to sensors, wearables, robots, and everything in between. The platform comes with a set of built-in reports, which allow users to get started quickly, but can also be customized to fit unique needs.

In this section I will explain how GitHub and Device Magic work together and provide a detailed description of how they work together.

Integration of GitHub and Device Magic

I thought it would be useful to integrate GitHub with Device Magic in order to better organize projects and simplify managing them. I believe that integrating these two services will help me cplaborate with other developers more efficiently to develop projects faster. I plan to accomplish this by using GitHub rather than my Device Magic account in order to allow other developers to cplaborate with one another without having to create an account on Device Magic and using Git and Markdown in order to track changes and comments. To do this, an integration would need to be created to integrate these two services in order to achieve the desired results. This integration could be created by pushing code from GitHub into Device Magic or by pulling code from Device Magic into GitHub. I plan to push code from GitHub into Device Magic by creating a webhook in GitHub that will post commits to a URL hosted on Device Magic to create a webhook in Device Magic. I will then create a new branch called “dev” in my GitHub repository and will push code from my “dev” branch onto my “dev” branch in my Device Magic repository. By doing this each commit made will be pushed onto my device magic repository and each commit pushed will automatically create a new branch called “dev” in my Device Magic repository which will automatically be pushed onto my device magic repository on This will allow others to see what files were changed including screenshots of what changed on my website. The ability to see what the change was on the website will help developers fix bugs quicker without having to ask questions about what changed. This integration will also improve the efficiency of developing apps due to the fact that there won’t be any need for asking questions about what changed on the website since you can simply see what changed on the website. Also, there won’t be any need for asking questions about what happened if something broke because you will have access to the repository on GitHub so you can revert back to a previous version if needed. This integration will also help speed up the development process because you won’t have to wait for someone else to update code or write code before being able to test it out which will save time, energy, and money. Developers will be able to work independently on different parts of the project which will allow them to develop their part quicker without having to wait for other people before being able to move forward with their portion of the project. Lastly, this integration won’t require any changes to your current workflow since it won’t require you to change anything except for creating a repository on GitHub where you can make updates privately before moving forward with everything else. This integration will make it easier for others to cplaborate with me on projects like Coding Dojo Project #1 since they now don’t have to create an account on DeviceMagic before they can start working on the project which makes it easier for them since they don’t have to spend time trying out their device or signing up for an account before working on my project. Instead they can just start working right away because they can just push changes directly into my repo without having to sign up for an account which saves them time since they don’t have to wait for someone else before they can start working on their portion of the project. This is especially beneficial since most students are not very familiar with git or markdown so it would be useful for me if I could show them how GitHub works so they don’t have worry about learning git or markdown before starting my project since they can just push changes into my repo without having to learn git or markdown before working with me on my project. This way they can keep focus on developing their portion of the project which will allow them to finish their portion of the project quicker without having to worry about learning git or markdown first.
