Freshservice is a cloud-based IT service management software. It is used to manage and monitor the system and applications in the cloud.
SharpSpring is a marketing automation software. It is used to automate the marketing tasks such as lead management, email marketing, social media marketing, and other marketing campaigns.
To integrate Freshservice and SharpSpring, you need to add a new add-on to Freshservice called Freshservice SharpSpring Connector. This connector can be added from your Freshservice account under the Add-ons page. The fplowing steps will show you how to add this connector:
Log in to your Freshservice account and go to the Add-ons page (https://www.freshservice.com/add-ons.
Click on the Get New Add-on button.
Choose the integration type and click on Next. In this case, we choose the integration type as REST API.
Enter the information for your SharpSpring account and click on Next.
When the connection between your accounts is successful, you will see a notification message in the Status cpumn.
Figure 10-9 shows all the fields that have to be filled in for this connection process.

Once you have connected these two software programs, you will see an icon next to each service from either program in your user interface. When you open a ticket from either program, you will see a special icon added next to it in your user interface. If you click on the icon, you will see a popup box with some extra options related to that ticket, as shown in Figure 10-10.

By integrating these two software programs, you will be able to do the fplowing:
Get notifications from SharpSpring about your leads from service tickets in Freshservice. You don’t need to check your inbox every day because the notifications from SharpSpring will be sent directly to your Freshservice account. Once you receive a notification, you can go directly to the ticket from the notification message and take care of it.
Send notes about your service tickets to SharpSpring. For instance, while creating a ticket in Freshservice, you can add notes about the ticket, which can be used by SharpSpring to create more targeted emails or social media posts for you.
