Integration of Freshsales and Vimeo

Freshsales integrates with various products including Google Apps for Work, Box, Dropbox, Gmail, Freshdesk, Freshchat, Freshteam, Freshcaller, Freshchat, Freshalerts, Freshsales CRM for Outlook and more than 9 other applications and tops. To use this method one needs to log into the Freshsales account and go to the Account Settings section. Then go to “Other” link on the left side menu and click on Vimeo Integration button on the right side. This will open the Vimeo Integration page where you can add your account info on the form provided on that page. Once you have added your account details here, you will be able to access your Vimeo videos from Freshsales. You can also add a tag to your Vimeo videos so that you can access these videos with a specific tag. For example if you have a video named “John’s video” it is possible to add a tag to this video named “John” so that whenever John’s video is created then this tag will be automatically added. Then you can use this tag in any report of Freshsales where you want to get all the videos associated with John.

This method also requires a user to log into his account in both Freshsales and Vimeo. After logging into the accounts in both platforms he needs to go to Contact > Add Contact in Freshsales and add a new contact record in it. Here he needs to add a title to the contact record which he wants to add a video for. In this example we are going to add a video for John Smith who is a business partner of our customer ABC Ltd. Now he needs to go back to his Freshsales account and go to Reports > Contacts > All Contacts > John Smith. Here he needs to click on “Add Video” link at the top of the page. This will open the “Add Video” modal window where you can upload your video file or choose a video template from here using the “Select Template” drop-down menu. Once you have selected your desired template click on “Add Video” button at the bottom of the page to get your video linked with John Smith’s contact record in your customer ABC Ltd account in Freshsales. After adding your video here you need to go back to your Freshsales account again and click on Contacts > All Contacts > John Smith where you will see your added video here above his contact data. By clicking on this link you will be taken directly to your video online at Vimeo (https://vimeo.com/abclimited. You can also modify this video by adding annotations or adding transcripts if needed while adding this video over there. To do this you need to click on “Edit” link next to this video when you are logged into your Freshsales account online (https://www.freshsalesapp.com. After editing your video here you need to go back to your Freshsales account once again then go to Contacts > All Contacts > John Smith where you will see your updated video here over there along with his contact details. By doing this integration between Freshsales and Vimeo it is possible for you to create a video for any contact data in your business process very easily without any trouble at all by just fplowing these simple steps.
