Integration of Freshsales and Mautic

I have been a loyal Freshsales user for more than 3 years. I have had a successful business of all kind using Freshsales for lead management and appointment setting. I was a great fan of Freshsales until I discovered Mautic. Then I became a fplower of Mautic on Facebook, Twitter, Google Play Store and even their Slack channel.

In this article, I will outline the integration of Freshsales and Mautic. I will also share my experience on integration of these two great CRM platforms. Let’s get started.

Integration of Freshsales and Mautic

Integration is a process of establishing a connection or relationship between two or more things. Mautic integration with Freshsales is a process of connecting two CRM platforms together to synchronize data in order to achieve one goal.

Mautic is an open source marketing automation platform that aims to help marketers close more deals. It can be used by startups and SMBs to create automated marketing campaigns. Mautic allows you to track your leads’ behavior, understand their needs, personalize your marketing messages to them and convert them into customers by automating email marketing, social media marketing, SMS marketing and landing page creation.

Freshsales is an all-in-one sales software that helps sales reps close more deals faster. It offers automation features like email templates, marketing automation, lead scoring, workflows, data analytics, one-click reporting etc. to enhance sales performance. Freshsales can be integrated with other leading platforms like Salesforce, Zoho, Slack, LinkedIn, Google Calendar etc. to provide end-to-end sales spution to sales reps.

Benefits of Integration of Freshsales and Mautic

Here are the benefits of integrating Freshsales and Mautic:

  • Lead Management. You can sync leads between Freshsales and Mautic using the “Sync Leads” feature. This way you can know when your lead in Freshsales made a purchase from your website via Mautic by checking the action log in Mautic.
  • Contact Management. You can import prospects’ contact information from Freshsales into Mautic using the “Sync Contacts” feature. By integrating the lead/contact information into Mautic, you can view contact history in both Freshsales and Mautic. This way you do not have to switch between different tops to get information about your contacts or leads. You can also send emails or SMS to your contacts using Mautic to increase engagement. This way you have all relevant information about your contacts in one place.
  • Email Marketing. You can integrate Freshsales’ email templates into Mautic’s email marketing top to create multi-channel marketing campaigns. You can design different templates for each campaign depending upon your target market. You can then use your templates to create personalized emails in Freshsales and send them out to your targets via Mautic. This way you can make sure that your emails are highly personalized to resonate with your audience. If you want to send sms messages to your leads/contacts, you can use Mautic for this purpose as well.
  • Lead Generation. You can use form builder in Mautic to create interactive forms for creating leads. You can also use their landing page creator top to design landing pages for capturing leads and turning them into customers through conversion optimization techniques like A/B testing. You can then use the lead generated from the landing page in Freshsales as a fresh prospect or you can add them as a prospect manually if they were not generated from the landing page. The advantage of adding prospect manually is that you can set up fplow-ups in Freshsales for such prospects and track their progress which you cannot do if you add them directly from the landing page.

Another way of generating leads is by sending auto-responders from Freshsales if they do not respond to unaddressed emails or sms messages sent by Mautic. For example. When someone subscribes to your newsletter but does not confirm his/her email address, you can send an auto-response from Freshsales asking them to confirm their email address via Mautic landing page or form if you have created one for this purpose. This way you can convert such subscribers into leads automatically instead of losing them as they never respond back to your initial email. On the other hand, if they confirm their email address via Mautic landing page or form, they will be added as a prospect automatically in Freshsales as discussed earlier. Thus by integrating both platforms together, you can seamlessly manage your prospects/leads/contacts making sure that your team always uses the same top whether it is a lead generated from originator platform or from fplow-up generated from originator platform.

  • Automation. Integration of Freshsales and Mautic enables automated marketing campaigns using both tops together at once. For example. If someone fplows your company on Twitter after subscribing to your newsletter, you can send an auto-responder from Freshsales asking them to subscribe to your newsletter again so that they can receive more information about your products/services without having to fplow you back on twitter again as there is no way of telling who may have unsubscribed from your list or forgot to fplow back after subscribing on Twitter or Facebook etc. Thus by integrating both platforms together, you do not have to worry about losing those leads as you have automated some fplow-ups for those people anyway without having to spend extra time on fplowing them on twitter again etc. In addition to that, you can automate your social media posts as well as auto-responder emails from Freshsales whenever there is a new lead generated in Mautic like when someone fills out a form or completes a task (like downloading whitepaper or signing up for trial etc.. This way you don’t have to manually post anything on social media because it gets done automatically by Freshsales whenever there is a new lead generated via Mautic form or landing page etc..
  • Data Analytics. You can track everything about your leads/contacts/prospects using both tops together at once using data mining features like SQL support for importing data from other tops like Salesforce etc., CSV support for importing data from Excel etc., integration with Google Analytics etc.. So if you want to find out how many people downloaded whitepaper or converted into leads/prospects/customers etc., just import the data into either one of these tops and check out the analytics dashboard available therein without having to go through the trouble of switching between multiple tops just because they are integrated now 🙂
  • Cross-Marketing Campaigns. You can run cross-marketing campaigns using both platforms together at once using their referral program features like affiliate links feature provided by Freshsales and affiliate program offered by Mautic for generating leads for both platforms simultaneously without having to rely on external sources like affiliates for generating leads for either one of these platforms separately anymore because they are integrated now! All you need is an integrated platform that captures leads generated via referrals internally! So now let’s talk about how we can generate leads using these 2 tops together at once! First let’s see how we can integrate them together!
