In other words, once the plugin is developed, it must be embedded within Canny’s extension and activated by default. Once this integration is complete, the end user will be able to access the word filter feature from his/her browser without having to install another piece of software.
The benefits of integrating Filter By Connect and Canny are several. For one thing, this integration will give users a greater degree of contrp over what content they see when using Canny. Not only will this integration allow users to filter out certain words or phrases that they may find offensive, but it will also allow them to alter the results based on their own preferences. For example, if a user finds that all the articles in his/her feed which contain the word “Trump” are negative, he/she can create a filter that removes all articles containing “Trump” from his/her feed.
This integration will also make it easy for users to install and use Canny since no additional software needs to be downloaded and installed. If users want to customize their feed, they can do so just by going into their browser settings and looking for the new section titled “Canny” where all of the settings associated with their account are located.
