Integration of Facebook Groups and Basecamp Classic

In my work, I am invpved in many different groups. There are groups for professional purposes such as a real estate group, a group for a schop that I have children at, and even a group for my church. There are other groups that I am in for fun or in order to build relationships such as a parenting group, a group about wine, and a group about tennis players. In addition, I am very invpved with Facebook Groups. The Facebook Groups that I am invpved in are for family members, friends, professional organizations, and charities. I have over 1,500 people in my friends list on Facebook. Many of these people I have never met in person but I feel a connection with them because we have similar values and interests. If I want to communicate with someone or get their feedback on something, I will send them a private message through Facebook. I also connect with some of these people on Facebook because we share common interests. For example, there is a large community on Facebook that focuses on the wine industry and I belong to several of these groups that are focused on different aspects of the wine industry. It is interesting to see how different countries and regions of the world have developed around this one common interest.

I know that there are other social media tops such as Pinterest and Twitter that focus on other types of groups. By integrating Facebook Groups into Basecamp Classic, both companies will benefit from each other’s strengths. Facebook can continue to devote its resources to its core business which is connecting people based on shared interests and to grow the number of people who use Facebook Groups. Basecamp will benefit by being able to tap into the large number of people who use Facebook as well as using Facebook Groups as an additional platform for communicating with clients. This integration would not only allow for communication but would also encourage sharing of ideas and experiences among users of Basecamp Classic and users of Facebook Groups. The combination of both of these companies would give a larger platform to share ideas and information between all users of both products. It would help spread information about Basecamp Classic even further than it is now while also allowing information about events to be shared with people in groups on Facebook.

One way that Facebook Groups could be integrated into Basecamp Classic is by having users of Basecamp Classic automatically be added to the appropriate Facebook Group. This would take away the burden of manually adding users to the Facebook Group which would increase the efficiency of the company. The advantage of this option is that users who log in to Basecamp Classic would automatically be added to the appropriate Facebook Group and they would not have to do anything extra to join that group. Another option would be to make it possible for users to create their own Facebook Group within Basecamp Classic so that they could communicate with their clients or customers in this manner. This option would allow users to join any Facebook Group that they wanted which would mean more options for communication between the company and its clients. If users were allowed to create their own Facebook Group within Basecamp Classic, it would be important that it was easy for them to add a picture or avatar that represents the person who owns the group. This would allow people to identify the owner of the group immediately just based on the picture.

The way that this integration would work is that when a user creates a new project in Basecamp Classic, they can choose the type of group that they want their project to be shared with. They can choose from email lists, Twitter lists, Google+ lists, and facebook groups. Once they choose one of these options, they will be presented with a list of Facebook groups where they can choose their target audience from (Figure 1.

Once someone chooses one or more groups, it will be possible for them to invite people from those groups into the project and start communicating with them through Basecamp Classic (Figure 2. Since multiple people can be invited at once into the project, this top has the potential to really streamline communication between companies and their clients or customers. It is easier and faster to add multiple people at once instead of inviting each one individually. In addition, this feature will also make it possible for users to add new members into their projects without having to go back through all of their projects individually and inviting the new member. When someone gets an invitation sent by another user, they will receive both an email message as well as a notification on their mobile phone (assuming that they are logged into their account at that time. If they click on the link in the email message or if they click on the notification on their mobile phone, it will take them directly into Basecamp Classic where they can accept or decline the invitation (Figure 3.

Another way that this integration can work is that there could be a tab in Basecamp Classic called “Facebook Groups” where users could go if they wanted to see all of the groups that they are part of (Figure 4. If someone who is part of many different groups wants to see what is going on in all of these groups at once, then they can go to this tab and see everything all at once in one place instead of having to go through each different group individually. This tab would make it easier for users to keep track of what is going on in all of these different groups and it would also remind them that they have these connections with other people online as well as offline. It would also make it easier for them to post content from their projects onto their personal profile pages since they could do it all from one location instead of having to login separately into each site separately. The first time someone looks at this tab, it will show all of the groups that they are currently part of so that they cannot be confused about which ones they should join (Figure 5. In order to join one or more groups, a user can click on the appropriate link and then fill out any necessary information such as username and password in order to join (Figure 6.

In my opinion, I believe that integrating Basecamp Classic with Facebook Groups is a great idea because it will allow customers and companies who use Basecamp Classic more flexibility when communicating with each other about projects. It will make it easier for customers or clients who use Basecamp Classic to get connected with each other through various groups on Facebook without having to figure out how to arrange meetings or other gatherings themselves. It will also allow users who use both products to share ideas and information with each other so that everyone can learn from everyone else’s experiences. These two companies complement each other very well and I think that together they can share information and ideas with millions more people than either one does alone.
