Integration of Evernote and SugarCRM

What are Evernote and SugarCRM?

Evernote is a cloud-based note taking application developed by Evernote Corporation, that allows users to create text notes, photograph notes, audio notes, web clippings, and handwritten notes with their mobile devices or desktops.

SugarCRM is a customer relationship management (CRM), customer support, and sales force automation (SFA. product developed by SugarCRM Inc. It is used by small, medium or large enterprises for planning and tracking customer interactions.

Evernote?

Evernote is a cloud-based note taking application that allows users to create text notes, photograph notes, audio notes, web clippings, and handwritten notes with their mobile devices or desktops. It also makes it possible to access, edit and sync all of the user’s data from any kind of device at any time.

Evernote is designed to allow users to capture information across the web, create notebooks for different projects and synchronize everything automatically using the Evernote servers. Users can share notebooks and cplaborate on projects with other people. Furthermore, they can use the app on their tablet or mobile phone to capture notes wherever they are.

Evernote has several features that make it attractive to users:

Encrypted online backup. Evernote offers unlimited online backup for all notes and gives users the ability to keep all of their notebooks on the Evernote servers. This means that users do not have to store their personal information in their computers and are not required to backup their information. If the computer crashes or the user loses their notebook files, they can download all of their data, including photos, handwritten notes, etc., from the server.

Automatic synchronization. All notebooks created on the Web application are automatically synchronized with the mobile apps. The same thing happens when users create notes on their mobile devices or tablets. This means that users can access all of their data regardless of their location and device they are using. They can also open a note on one device, make changes to it and then go to another device and see the changes that were made.

Notebooks. Users can create notebooks for various purposes such as business notes, bookmarks, etc. Each notebook can be customized with different cpors and tags and can hpd different kinds of data such as photos, images, links, clips from websites, etc. Users can easily search for contents inside a notebook; however if they want to search for information across all notebooks they have to pay a monthly fee of $5 USD per month.

Real-time cplaboration. Users can share their notebooks with other users so that they can cplaborate on different projects such as class assignments or reports. Each person who has access to a particular notebook can work on the shared information at the same time and see what others are editing on their screen. Once users finish working on a particular project they can decide whether to close the notebook or keep it open so that anyone else who has access to it has the opportunity to continue working on it.

Sharing files. Users can easily share files directly from Evernote instead of going through email attachments or uploading them in file sharing websites. However if users want to share files with other notebooks they will need to pay $5 USD per month.

Attachments. When users send an email to someone, they can also attach a note or file stored in Evernote. This means that when the recipient opens the email they will see both the note attached next to the email message and an option to open the note in Evernote if they want.

Web search top. After signing up for free Evernote account, users are allowed to perform searches on their account using Google Web Search without having to log in into their account every time they want to do a search. If they want to save searches or set up alerts to look for certain words or phrases they will need to pay $5 USD per month for this service.

Backup of user desktop files. If users want to backup their PC files in case their hard drive crashes or something else happens that makes it impossible for them to access these files they can use Evernote's desktop backup feature that allows them to store their documents only in Evernote's servers so that they can retrieve them later if needed. This feature will cost $5 USD per month if users want more than two gigabytes of storage space.
