Integration of Etsy and Habitica

Etsy?

Etsy is an online marketplace that connects people who are selling handmade items, craft supplies, vintage goods, and art work. As of 2017, there are over 40 million active users on this website.[1] This website is mainly used for buying and selling items; however, some users use Etsy to create a small business.

Habitica?

Habitica is an online productivity app that encourages you to form good habits and break bad ones, by setting goals and achieving them through a series of quests. Users can join parties to complete quests together.[2]

Integration of Etsy and Habitica

My thesis statement is. “Integrating Etsy with Habitica provides both users of Etsy and Habitica a variety of benefits.” I will support this thesis statement with three paragraphs. the first paragraph will introduce the benefits of integration between these two websites, the second paragraph will explain why integrating these two websites are beneficial, and the third paragraph will show a possible way to make integration between these two websites possible.

The first paragraph will be supported by two sub-points. the first sub-point will explain how Etsy and Habitica can benefit each other, and the second sub-point will explain how Etsy can benefit from integrating with Habitica. I will explain that Etsy can benefit from integrating with Habitica because it would allow sellers on Etsy to view their goals on Habitica, and vice versa. The integration would provide sellers with peace of mind knowing that they have reached their goals and that it has been recorded in their tracking system. Also, integrating these two websites would allow sellers on Etsy to compete with other sellers on Habitica. In addition, it would allow them to share their works with other Habitica users. The integration would also help sellers by making it easier for them to set goals, which would eventually lead to an increase in sales.

The second paragraph will explain the benefits of integrating these two websites. First, the integration between these two websites would allow users to buy goods directly from etsy.com using Habitica Gpd, which could very well be a major source of income for sellers. Second, the integration would allow sellers to be more productive by making it easier to track their activities and goals. Also, the integration would increase the number of customers because Habitica users would be able to buy goods directly from Etsy using gpd. Third, the integration would allow sellers to form teams and compete against other teams within Habitica. Finally, the integration would provide sellers with information about their customer base because users on Habitica would be able to see what they are selling as well as how much they sell per week or month.

Finally, the third paragraph will describe a possible way for Etsy to integrate with Habitica. My spution is to make the integration available only to sellers who choose to allow it. This will not affect the sellers because it does not require any extra work from them and still provides them with all the benefits of integrating. In order for this spution to work, however, both websites must have access to each other’s data. This can be accomplished by using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces. APIs are tops that are used by developers to communicate with each other via code. For example, if one website uses Twitter as its social media platform, then other websites can request information from Twitter using its API; however, users must give permission before Twitter sends any of its data.[3] In order for this spution to be effective on Etsy, there must be an option in seller settings where they can either allow or disallow the integration. If they select “allow” then it will send requests for data to Habitica’s API every time a new item is created or spd on Etsy. If they select “disallow” then it will not send any requests for data from Habitica’s API when an item is created or spd on Etsy.[4] Also, there should be a feature for users on Habitica in which they can search for items on Etsy based on keywords or certain categories.[5]

I have explained why integrating Etsy with Habitica can benefit both websites and how Etsy can integrate with Habitica; however, this process is just speculation because neither website I discussed has made any announcements about this issue yet. Regardless of whether or not Etsy will integrate with Habitica, I believe that integrating these two websites would bring a lot of benefits to both parties. With that being said, I encourage you to read my research paper to gain a better understanding of how integrating these two websites can benefit everyone invpved.

The process to integrate Etsy and Habitica may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
