  • Integration of Ecwid and Zoho Invoice
  • Ecwid and Zoho Invoice can be integrated easily using the API provided by both platforms. Using this integration you can send invoices directly from your Ecwid store to your Zoho Invoice account. The fplowing steps will help you in implementing this integration:

    Login to your Ecwid dashboard

    Click on ‘Store’ from the left sidebar. It will open up the storefront page of your store.

    Now click on ‘Webhooks’ from the left sidebar. You will be taken to the Webhooks page where you can set up callbacks for different events that occur in your store. Click on the ‘Add New Hook’ button and then click ‘Create New Hook Group’ to set up a new hook group. Enter a name for the hook group which will appear in the list of hooks. Choose ‘Zoho Invoice’ as the webhook type and enter your Zoho Invoice API key and secret key into the fields provided. Now enter any number in the field ‘Number of times to repeat’ so that it does not continuously call your Zoho Invoice account. Click on ‘Save Changes’ to save these changes.

    Those are the basic steps required for setting up the integration between Ecwid and Zoho Invoice. Now we will see how we can use this integration to create invoices directly from our Ecwid store.

    Click on ‘Create Invoice’ from the left sidebar to generate an invoice for your customer. This will open the new invoice form. Select ‘Zoho Invoice’ as the payment provider from the drop-down menu next to ‘Payment Method’ and select a customer by checking the box beside his/her name. Then enter all the details of the invoice in the appropriate fields. Once everything is entered, click on ‘Create Invoice’ to generate an invoice for your customer. In case you want to send the invoice manually, click on ‘Send Invoice’. This will take you to a new page where you can enter all the details of the invoice that you want to send manually. After entering all the details, click on ‘Send’ to send an invoice to your customer.

    You can see that in both cases, you are sending an invoice to your customer via Zoho Invoice and it is shown under his/her account at Zoho Invoice after getting received there. This shows that Ecwid and Zoho Invoice have been integrated successfully using API calls from one party to another.
