Integration of Downtime Alert and Revolut

Downtime Alert and Revput are two companies that provide different services. In this project, we will look at the integration between Downtime Alert and Revput. The purpose of the project is to see how the two companies can be integrated to provide better services to customers.

Downtime Alert is a company that provides internet monitoring services that helps users know when there is downtime in their internet service providers. The company was founded in 2006 by Ghassan Makarem who is still the current owner of the company. The company has offices in Singapore, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United States and Australia (Wikipedia. The company monitors millions of companies worldwide and notifies customers via email or text message during a period of downtime. The company also provides an application for Android and IOS so that users can track their internet service providers without visiting the company website (Downtime Alert, 2018.

Revput is a company that provides payment services. It was founded by Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko in 2014. Revput started as a prepaid payment card service to allow users to shop online internationally. They have since then expanded to become a payment service provider similar to Paypal and Apple Pay. Users can add money from their bank account to their Revput account and use it to make payments online. It also allows users top up their Revput account using debit cards or credit cards. The company has recently added insurance products for its users. People can insure their flight tickets, hotels, car rentals and travel accessories using the Revput app (Revput, 2018.

  • Integration between Downtime Alert and Revput
  • The first thing that users can do is to compare their internet service providers using Downtime Alert with the ones available on Revput so that they can find one that fits their needs. Users can choose their preferred internet service provider based on the price, customer ratings, location or just because of the name. This will help them find the best internet service provider for them.

Before finalizing their decision, users can check the duration of downtime experienced by other users for this specific internet service provider using Downtime Alert. They can choose if they want to take the risk of experiencing downtime in their network or they want a more stable network. If they choose a more stable network than the one they are currently using, they can go ahead and make the switch to another internet service provider using Revput.

  • Benefits of Integration between Downtime Alert and Revput
  • Downtime Alert and Revput were already working towards becoming integrated into each other’s services before the project began. Now that we have come up with new ideas about how we can improve the integration, we believe that this will be beneficial for both companies as well as their customers.

For example, instead of only having customers receive notifications about downtime through emails or text message, they can also receive information about a good Internet Service Provider from Downtime Alert through Revput. This will save time for customers who would otherwise have to visit Downtime Alert’s website to search for good internet service providers. It will also give users who are not looking for internet providers a chance to see what internet service providers are available in their area from Downtime Alert. They can then decide which one is best for them instead of having to search from scratch for a new internet service provider.

Another benefit of this integration is that people who have been searching for an Internet Service Provider from Downtime Alert may use Revput as a payment method instead of another payment method such as PayPal or Apple Pay. People who don’t have access to cash at all times may use Revput if they are assured that there will be no downtime in the Internet Service Provider’s network using Downtime Alert. This will increase Revput’s market share and attract new clients from places where they don’t have any branches yet or from countries where they don’t have access to cash at all times but have access to smartphones.

In conclusion, we believe that integrating Downtime Alert and Revput will be beneficial to both companies as well as their customers. Customers will be able to save time from researching for new Internet Service Providers by getting information about good providers directly from Downtime Alert through Revput through text message or email alerts. Also, people who are not looking for Internet Service Providers will be provided with information about internet service providers from Downtime Alert through Revpt and may end up being one of their customers anyway if they find out that the Internet Service Provider is good enough for them. Finally, people who use Revput may end up using it more frequently if they know there is no downtime in their internet service provider’s network using Downtime Alert.

The process to integrate Downtime Alert and Revput may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
