Integration of Device Magic and MeisterTask

  • Device Magic is an app for the Apple iPad that allows users to design and manufacture their own custom cases. The cases are designed with the iPad in mind, so they fit perfectly (see Figure 1. I’ve tried designing a case that fits my iPad and it was very easy to do. Once you select your materials, your case can be manufactured right away. It has never been easier to design and manufacture your own case than with Device Magic. The site also lets you purchase other cases that you can personalize with your own designs.

  • MeisterTask?
  • MeisterTask is a project management web application that allows users to assign tasks to employees, track progress, and record decisions made during the project. MeisterTask is easy to use and I’ve found it very effective in managing my projects. It’s unique features allow me to manage projects effectively. I’ve used it for coding projects, but I also use it for managing requirements, tasks, and bugs for all of my projects. MeisterTask is a great way to manage projects using software. No more spreadsheets or email! Use MeisterTask to keep everyone on the same page working towards the same goal.

  • Integration of Device Magic and MeisterTask
  • Integrating Device Magic and MeisterTask would make for a great combination of tops for project management. The integration of these two tops would allow people to manage their projects in a more efficient manner. MeisterTask already has a feature where you can attach files to the task that you are working on. So if you were working on a project that required you to design a case for your iPad, then you could attach the Device Magic design top to the task so anyone in the project could view the design when they are working on their tasks. This integration would be beneficial in getting the entire team up-to-date on the design of the case so they could start working on their tasks earlier. The project manager could also use MeisterTask to track progress on the case and monitor the quality of the case by checking out how it will look when it’s created and comparing it to previous builds. Another benefit of integrating these two tops is that we would get a better sense of how much time we needed to dedicate to each of our tasks based on the work that had been done before us on the task. For example, if we find that another team member has spent 8 hours designing a case then we know we need more time on our design, which we can get from MeisterTask. The integration of these two tops would also allow us to better manage our tasks and delegate them throughout our team. We could even set up a team project with MeisterTask and use it as a cplaborative environment where everyone on the team could work together on one project.
