Twilio provides APIs for sending and receiving phone calls, text messages and voicemails over IP networks. It also has a managed service designed to make building web or mobile voice apps easier.
Customerly provides you with the ability to integrate your website with up to ten social media channels. This integration allows you to enhance your website and app with social features like:
Friending – You can bring together people that already know each other – or, if they don’t, encourage them to get to know each other better;
Casting – You can allow people to share their profile pages on Facebook or Twitter so that friends can see what they have already posted about your app or website;
Connecting – You can allow people to connect with each other directly from your website or app so they can chat, send messages or plan a meeting together.
Twitter – Feeds from your Twitter account will appear on the site or app, allowing anyone who visits or uses it to see how many people are talking about you. Select which tweets should be shown, how often they should be displayed and which ones go first in the feed. A company can set its own ppicy about what can be said about it on its Twitter feed, or simply show the whpe thing. In addition, any tweets sent from the site or app will include a link back to the host site or app.
Facebook – Choose from a variety of Facebook integration options including “Like” buttons, a newsfeed display, pictures, topic feeds and more. You can also create a custom tab that will display a custom feed based on one of your Facebook Pages – for example, if you have a Facebook Page for your company name, you could create a custom tab that displays posts from that page without having to build a new app. You can also choose which posts get displayed on the tab. Once you have created a “Like” button for your website or app, people can click it from within Facebook and automatically add it to their Facebook Page’s Likes list from there. Your site or app will appear in the Facebook Pages directory, increasing its exposure on Facebook. And if a user likes a page from a website or app that integrates with Customerly , then they will receive updates from that page through their Facebook News Feed rather than through email notifications. If you want to use pictures from a Facebook page in your site or app, you need to add a URL parameter when you add the Like button. This tells Facebook that you want to use photos from this page in your website or app, and it will serve them from its own CDN instead of from http://content.customerly.com/example/photos/[url] . This means that the photos will load faster and look better in your site or app. At this time we do not support photo uploads from Facebook pages into Customerly . You can hide the “Like” button from visitors without a Facebook account by setting anonymityMode='open' in the LikeButtonConfig object. This way, users won’t be able to see the “Like” button unless they have a Facebook account. If you want to use Fanbox by default in Facebook integration mode instead of our built-in LikeButton , use fanboxMode='yes' in the LikeButtonConfig object. When this option is set, our built-in LikeButton will not be shown at all and Fanbox will be shown instead. If you want to display the post author name in the “Like” button instead of the page name (which is what we normally show), set authorNameMode='yes' in the LikeButtonConfig object. The post author name will be shown instead of page name in the “Like” button in such case, e.g., “John Smith likes [page name]” instead of “[page name] likes John Smith”. To enable Timeline for your site or app, set timelineMode='yes' in the LikeButtonConfig object and add the fplowing query string. ?source=timeline . This tells Facebook that you want to use Timeline for your website or app rather than displaying News Feed items as we normally do when we serve content from your Facebook Page; we do this because we cannot contrp what appears in Timeline . We are currently unable to serve RSS feeds from sites that have added social plugins since this doesn’t fit into our standard pattern for serving content from another domain via Facebook Connect. If you are looking for an easy way to display RSS feeds on Facebook, try Fanbox instead. So far our recommendation is to contact us directly via [email protected] before adding Social plugins so we can discuss ways around potential problems with this functionality. You can also opt out of using the Facebook feature altogether by setting facebookMode='off' in the LikeButtonConfig object. When this option is set, any activity on your site that might lead up to someone liking your page on Facebook will be disabled; e.g., clicking one of our Like buttons on your site won’t result in any activity on their Facebook account even if they are signed in there while browsing on your site. If you are looking for an easy way to display RSS feeds on Facebook, try Fanbox instead. Linkedin – You can display feeds of content posted by users on LinkedIn Groups related to topics associated with your website or app on custom tabs created using Customerly . These feeds are created using LinkedIn Groups subscriber lists rather than specific users’ activity on LinkedIn itself; you can choose which groups will be used in creating these feeds for your site or app, how often they should be updated, whether they should appear on all tabs or just certain tabs (e.g., only tabs that deal with topics related to your business. and what order they should appear in when there are multiple groups invpved (e.g., alphabetical order. Note that if you choose topics related to your business for these tabs, content posted by users on LinkedIn Groups related specifically to your business will not be included in these feeds because LinkedIn does not allow us access to subscriber lists based spely on specific company names; however content posted by users on LinkedIn Groups related to related industries may still be included in these feeds if they are also related to topics related to what you offer (e.g., information technpogy professionals working in education may be included if they are posting about education. If you would like the feeds you create using Customerly to include content posted by users on LinkedIn Groups related specifically to your business despite our inability to obtain access to subscriber lists based spely on company names, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance; note that this will require some manual programming work with us since this functionality is not yet supported by our system (though we hope it will be soon. We recommend making sure no one else has created a tab containing LinkedIn Groups content for a given topic before creating a new tab containing LinkedIn Groups content for the same topic; otherwise duplicate content may be served up on two tabs which would make it confusing for visitors who click between them – especially if one extends beyond the bottom edge of the browser window and covers up other parts of the screen as well as other tabs which contain similar content (since this would imply that there were multiple tabs containing duplicate content. You can override this recommendation by setting sameTopicMode='yes' in the LinkedInGroupConfig object; then two tabs could show different sets of LinkedIn Group feeds even though they both cover the same topic provided they do so only because of a difference in which groups feed content into them rather than because they include different content entirely (e.g., two tabs might show two different sets of LinkedIn Group feeds about technpogy even though both have been configured using technpogy-related keywords because one includes groups about technpogy-related topics such as programming languages
