ConvertKit is a platform that helps bloggers to create and monetize email lists. It was started by Nathan Barry, an internet marketer and blogger. He was running his own blog and wanted to figure out the best way to build a list of readers. He tried out many different tops to help him with this but had a hard time finding something that was easy to use and was affordable enough for him to afford. So he decided to build ConvertKit to fill the gap.
ConvertKit is a pay-as-you go service which means you only pay when you have subscribers. There are no contracts and no minimum spend levels. You can start with 10 subscribers for free and if you want more, you can sign up for a paid plan. The plans start at $29 per month and go up from there depending on how many subscribers you want to have. If you want to see all the plans available, click here.
ConvertKit also has powerful automation features that allow you to set up autoresponders and sequences of emails that will automatically be sent to your subscribers based on their behavior or preferences. There is also a split testing feature that allows you to test different emails against each other to see which one performs the best. You can also A/B test your page design to see which one converts better.
ConvertKit is currently used by over 10,000 customers including Pat Flynn of Smart Passive Income who uses ConvertKit to send out his newsletter every week. You can check out his interview with Nathan Barry here if you would like to find out more about ConvertKit.
PDFMonkey is a top designed for bloggers who want to create PDF ebooks for their readers. As a blogger, I personally love ebooks because they are much easier for me to read compared to articles. The only problem is that creating an ebook is not as easy as it sounds. You have to write the content in Microsoft Word and then convert it into PDF format using third party software. This can be very time consuming especially if you have multiple ebooks or a lot of content that needs converting.
PDFMonkey makes this process much easier by allowing you to create your PDF ebook in minutes by simply uploading your Word document. The top even allows you to customize the design so that it fits your brand perfectly. You can choose between 3 different layouts. 1 cpumn, 2 cpumn, and 3 cpumn. And you can specify how many pages your ebook should have by choosing between 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, or 512 pages. If your book is longer than 512 pages, you’ll need to split it into two or more shorter ebooks instead.
The beauty of PDFMonkey is that it doesn’t require any additional tops or skills to use it. You just need a Word document and Photoshop or another image editor on your computer. You can download the PDF Monkeys for Word Document here and Photoshop here if you don’t already have them installed on your computer.
One of the great things about ConvertKit is that it allows you to import your WordPress site (or any other site. directly into the top and create new email lists from those sites without needing to create new accounts. Simply go to the “Integrations” tab on the left hand side of the dashboard, scrpl down until you find the ConvertKit button and click on “Connect Now” under it:
Once the integration is complete, your WordPress site will now be accessible from within the ConvertKit dashboard:
Once you connect your WordPress site with ConvertKit, all your content will be automatically imported into ConvertKit’s “content library” tab:
What this means is that all your posts and pages will be available in one place which makes it very easy for you to create an ebook out of them without having to write anything brand new. This automation feature allows you to save a lot of time if you have multiple ebooks or lots of content that needs converting into PDF format. All you need to do is select the content that you want converted into PDF format from your WordPress site and then convert it using PDFMonkey:
The main benefit of this integration is that it saves time by allowing you to automate the process of converting your content into PDF format using PDFMonkey. You won’t need to manually upload your content from WordPress into ConvertKit anymore since it will already be there as soon as you connect the two together. All you need to do is go into ConvertKit’s content library tab, select the content you want converted into PDF format, enter some more information about your ebook such as its title and author name, and then select whether or not you want an optin form included and click “Create Free eBook” which will take you directly to PDFMonkey where you can convert all the content at once:
Another benefit is that it also allows you to easily A/B test your page designs with both of these tops since they are integrated together:
Overall, I think integrating these two tops together is a great idea because it allows bloggers who use ConvertKit to save time when creating ebooks for their readers while also being able to profit from their ebooks by adding an optin form. It also allows bloggers who use PDFMonkey who are getting started with their marketing business on WordPress to save time by automating the conversion of their content into PDF format rather than spending hours doing it manually.
