Hello, my name is ______ and I am the CEO of ABC Corporation. We are very interested in understanding how our company can benefit from having our sales reps use Cisco® Webex Teams to communicate with our clients. Today, we are going to discuss why Webex Teams is a good fit for ABC Corporation, as well as the benefits that could be gained by integrating it into our Constant Contact platform.
Cisco® Webex Teams is an all-in-one cplaboration top for small businesses. It offers integrated video conferencing, screen sharing, co-editing, workspaces, and messaging. Cisco® Webex Teams is available on any device or operating system. The app even allows users to take calls on their desktop or smartphone. One of the most exciting features of Cisco® Webex Teams is that it integrates with other applications. Our sales reps can take calls on their desktop, then transfer the call to their smartphone when they leave the office. Webex Teams also has an API that allows other companies to integrate their software into it. This means that our sales reps could potentially use any top available to them without needing to switch between applications.
Constant Contact is a marketing automation service that helps small businesses generate leads and increase sales through email marketing. The Constant Contact platform consists of three major components. Email Marketing, Social Media, and Web Forms. Customers can use all three components or choose which ones they would like to use. Constant Contact’s platform allows users to manage all of their communications in one place. This saves us time and money because we do not need to hire additional staff members to help us out with this task. Constant Contact also integrates with other applications called “apps”; however, Constant Contact supports only six apps. If we were to integrate with Cisco® Webex Teams, we would need to create an app specially designed for us based on our unique needs. Even though this would be more costly than using the apps already supported by Constant Contact, we would still be able to integrate with Cisco® Webex Teams by using the APIs provided by the application. This would allow us to save time and money by integrating with Cisco® Webex Teams without having to create an app for this purpose.
The first thing we will focus on is the integration of Cisco® Webex Teams and Constant Contact. Cisco® Webex Teams offers a RESTful API which allows users to access deeper features of the application (such as integrations and calling and conferencing capabilities. The users will need to register for a free developer account in order to get the credentials needed for accessing these APIs. Once registered, users can generate a public key and public certificate for accessing the APIs via HTTPS requests. We plan on using two of these APIs. one for integrating with Constant Contact and one for generating phone numbers via DID (Direct Inward Dialing. providers for our sales reps. First we will talk about integrating with Constant Contact and how this application can help us generate more leads and increase sales with ease.
Constant Contact has a number of different ways in which they can send data to and from their service and ours. They have a REST API that users can call from any language/platform they wish. This is the one we will be using because it offers support for JSON data types, which will make it easy for us to consume data from Constant Contact into our Cisco® Webex Teams application. The main component of integration will invpve setting up a new customer in Constant Contact, which will automatically add a contact record to our database in Cisco® Webex Teams once the user logs in. Once this customer is created, they will be added to our “Sales” group in Constant Contact which will automatically add them to a group in Cisco® Webex Teams called “ABC Sales”. We will then have a button on our Cisco® Webex Teams application that says “Create Lead” which will create a lead in Constant Contact that contains basic customer information such as name, email address, phone number, etc. The lead will then be automatically assigned to a sales rep within our company who will receive a notification via email and Cisco® Webex Teams about a new lead assignment. Our sales rep can then set up a meeting in Cisco® Webex Teams to call the client via scheduled call or scheduled chat session if they decide not to meet face-to-face right away.
Besides creating leads for our sales reps in Constant Contact, there are many other advantages of integrating both applications together. Whenever someone creates a lead in Constant Contact after integration, they will also be added as an attendee in Cisco® Webex Teams when someone schedules a meeting in Cisco® Webex Teams via Constant Contact. This means that when our sales reps schedule meetings with clients, they do not need to remember who the client is since Cisco® Webex Teams will automatically add them as attendees in the meeting room once it has been scheduled. Also, all calls made through Cisco® Webex Teams can be recorded using our VoIP provider which is connected with Constant Contact so that the recording can be sent directly to our CRM system for future reference. The last feature we are excited about is the ability to transfer calls between devices seamlessly so that our sales reps do not need to worry about missing important calls while they are out at meetings or traveling around town since the call will always ring on both devices simultaneously.
The process to integrate Cisco® Webex Teams and Constant Contact may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
