A wide range of relational databases such as IBM DB2 as well as non-relational databases such as MongoDB use MySQL as an embedded database engine. MySQL has become one of the most popular choices of database for new projects and is currently one of the most widely deployed database servers in the world, with over 10 million installations reported in 2008. MySQL is also one of the most popular database management systems used on spam e-mail messages due to its ability to handle large vpumes of unspicited mail without affecting performance.
Cisco® Webex Meetings allows users to integrate their existing databases such as MySQL or Oracle to provide third-party applications access to their content. To use the integration feature, users must first register with Cisco® Webex® Meetings using their company email address or mobile phone number. Once registered users can either create a new meeting or edit an existing meeting using their Cisco® Webex® account information. If users are editing an existing meeting they will be prompted to enter information about the meeting location and start time for the meeting. When designing or editing a meeting users can then choose to integrate with third-party services such as Salesforce.com®, Google Apps for Work, or Microsoft Office 365. This integration allows users to create meeting interactions with third-party services without leaving the Cisco® Webex® Meetings platform. For example, if users create an event using the Cisco® Webex® Event Center they can integrate their event with Google Calendar so attendees can easily add their appointments to their personal calendars using Gmail or Google Calendar API’s.
