Chargebee and Odoo ERP Self Hosted can be integrated in a number of ways. The most basic way to integrate Chargebee and Odoo ERP Self Hosted would be to use the integration feature provided by Chargebee to create a connection between them. This connection would allow charge data from Chargebee to be sent to Odoo ERP Self Hosted, which would then be shown on the invoice for the customer. To do this, a user would log in to Chargebee and select Connectors > Add Integration > Choose Integration Type > Webhook. The user would then have to copy the webhook URL provided by Chargebee, which would need to be pasted on the invoice page in order for data to be passed from Chargebee to Odoo ERP Self Hosted.
Another way in which Chargebee and Odoo ERP Self Hosted could be integrated is through a third party application called Export2Odoo. Export2Odoo is a top that allows data from Chargebee to be sent to Odoo ERP Self Hosted either manually or automatically. To use Export2Odoo, the Chargebee connector must be added in both systems, and Export2Odoo must be configured in order for it to work. The configuration consists of adding an integration ID for each system, which should match the API key for the connector, and setting up an ODOO_USERNAME , which should match the username of the person importing data into Odoo ERP Self Hosted from Chargebee. There are also settings related to sending data automatically or manually, how often this should happen, and what type of data should be sent.
The two main benefits of integrating Chargebee and Odoo ERP Self Hosted are cost reduction and customer satisfaction. Cost reduction arises because there is no need for a separate payment gateway service for charging customers because Chargebee already provides this service. Customer satisfaction will increase because it will be easier for customers to view their invoices in addition to their charges on Chargebee and because they will not have to visit two different websites to see all charges associated with their accounts. A secondary benefit is that if customers pay through Chargebee instead of directly through Odoo ERP Self Hosted, then any errors or issues with payments made through Chargebee will not affect customers’ invoices within Odoo ERP Self Hosted.
