First of all, log in to Chargebee using his/her credentials or sign up for a new account if they do not have an account yet. Once logged in, click on the “Integrations” tab on the left side of the screen. Then, click on the “Integrate with LinkedIn” button. You will be taken to a page that shows you the different ways you can connect Chargebee with your LinkedIn account. A popup box will appear where you need to log in to your LinkedIn account (if you are not already logged in. After logging in, you will be taken back to the popup box where you need to give permission to Chargebee to access your LinkedIn data. You have to confirm your permission by clicking on the blue “Allow Access” button under the prompt “ChargeBee has requested access to your LinkedIn data.” After this step Chargebee will show you its current status as shown below. Now, Chargebee is connected to your LinkedIn account. To see how the integration looks like, click on “View integration” next to LinkedIn Integration as shown below. Here, you can see that Chargebee has connected your LinkedIn account and is able to pull information from it like first name, last name, job title, etc. You can customize the fields that you want to pull from your LinkedIn profile and set them up as shown below. Click on “OK” when you are done setting up your settings. After this step, Chargebee will look like this. Now, you can go ahead and add your customer’s details from your LinkedIn account into Chargebee as shown below. At first, it will ask you if you want to add the customer from your existing list of contacts or if you want to add them from your network. You can choose either option or both of them if you want to add multiple customers at once. If you choose “add from contacts” option then it will ask for permission again like before; if you choose “add from network” option then it will automatically give you a list of contacts that are connected with you on LinkedIn. Click on “Continue” button after that. After that, it will show you a list of contacts that are connected with you on LinkedIn and it will ask if you would like to add them as customers or not by showing green check mark or red X mark respectively as shown below. Now, it will show you a list of your customers along with their details from their LinkedIn profiles along with what profile they are going to use for signing up for your service when they become a customer like shown below. Click on “Create” button when you are done adding all the customers that you want to add from your LinkedIn network. Now, go back to Chargebee main dashboard and click on “Update” button under “Connected Integrations” as shown below. After this step, Chargebee will automatically update all the details of your customers that were added from your LinkedIn network into your existing customers list as shown below. Now you are ready! Your customers are connected with you through LinkedIn and are ready for signup! You can start sending them emails about your services or send them messages on LinkedIn about your services!
