Integration of Basin and Facebook Groups

Basin is an online community that allows users to post and browse information as well as interact with others. Facebook Groups is a Facebook feature that allows users to create, specific groups. These groups can be joined by people who share common interests and views. There are many Facebook groups which offer support and advice to different groups of people.

The integration of Basin and Facebook will allow users to join Basin groups that relate specifically to their interests and share their experiences. This will also allow Basin members to participate in discussions without having to leave the Basin platform. The integration will also allow users to browse information posted on Facebook via Basin. This will give Basin users a wider variety of information than they currently have. Users would not have to go directly onto Facebook to access this information.

The integration of Basin and Facebook will be beneficial to both platforms. It will provide Basin members with more sources of information than they currently have. This will broaden their knowledge and understanding of events. It will also allow them to connect with other members for social purposes. The integration will also benefit Facebook by adding a wider range of information to its platform. Facebook users will then be able to stay within the Facebook environment when looking for information.

Create an outline for an article about the event you watched on video:

  • What is the event?
  • Why did you watch it?
  • Details about the event
  • What did you learn about the event?

The event I watched was the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games that took place in London, England. The opening ceremony focused on British culture and history. There were over 10,000 performers that participated in the ceremonies. The ceremony also included music, dance, and fireworks. There were many famous people who attended the opening ceremony including Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Kate, and David Beckham and Victoria. Hundreds of millions of people all over the world tuned into television to watch the ceremonies as it was being broadcasted live.

The opening ceremony was divided into four parts. “Enlightenment”, “Industrial Revolution” “Globalization” and “Celebration”. The first part was “Enlightenment” which symbolized the beginnings of Great Britain through trade, exploration, science and invention. The second part was “Industrial Revolution” which represented the development of Britain as a world power through industry and manufacturing. The third part was “Globalization” which showed how Britain became involved in global trade through colonization and transportation. The final part was “Celebration” which highlighted the diversity of Britain through its different cultures and traditions. The whole ceremony lasted over three hours long but it was very entertaining. For example, during the segment called “Globalization” there was a huge globe that appeared on stage that showcased Britain’s contribution to travel and transportation throughout the world. Another example was during the segment called “Celebration” there was a replica of Buckingham Palace that had fireworks shooting out from it symbolizing the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (60th anniversary. I enjoyed watching this event because it was very interesting learning about Great Britain’s history while watching a fun show at the same time.
