In this paper I will describe what Zoho Mail is and how it can be integrated with Asana.
Zoho Mail is a web-based email client that was created by Zoho Corporation. The client supports all major web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari and Opera. It can also be accessed via a Zoho Mail smartphone app for iOS and Android devices.
Zoho Mail is a great top for businesses and individuals to use to set up an email account, to send and receive emails and attachments, and to organize contacts.
Zoho Mail integrates with standard website forms via the Zoho Submissions add-on to cplect data from users when they sign up for a newsletter or when they fill out an online form on a website. In addition, Zoho Mail can be used as a standalone top, in which case it integrates with other applications in the Zoho Apps product line, such as Google G Suite, Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com. This can automate actions such as sending emails when a new contact is added, creating a new project in Asana, creating a new customer in Salesforce.com, etc.
This section will describe how integration of Zoho Mail and Asana works.
If you have Zoho Mail installed on your computer, then it will automatically integrate with Asana. You do not need to flip any switches or enter any settings to get this integration working. This integration enables you to create projects and tasks in Asana and select corresponding email addresses for recipients. Then whenever someone creates a task in Asana and selects the recipient email address, Zoho Mail will send out an email to everyone on the list.
You can use this integration to manage tasks and projects in Asana and send out emails to people who will help you get the job done. If you are sending something out to multiple people at once (such as an announcement or a meeting agenda. then having them all get that information via email instead of via another means like text message or social media may encourage them to pay attention and take action on it.
Zoho Mail offers many benefits for integrating with Asana; however there are also some potential drawbacks.
Zoho Mail offers several benefits for integrating with Asana:
Asana is free while Zoho Mail is not (though Zoho Mail offers a 30 day free trial and has pricing plans starting at $5 per month.
Asana provides an overview of time spent on tasks across projects whereas Zoho Mail does not.
Asana integrates with many other applications which Zoho Mail does not (though Zoho apps can also integrate with other applications.
Asana allows for multiple members of a team to share projects; however if you want multiple people to share an email address for receiving messages via Zoho Mail then each person needs their own email address (i.e., [email protected]@zohomail.com versus [email protected]@zohomail.com. This can be more cumbersome than sharing an email address via Asana because every time someone wants to be added to the email list they would need to request their own sets of emails addresses. This makes it easier for people to opt out of emails than it is for them to opt into emails (which could result in people missing out on important information.)
However there are some potential drawbacks associated with using Zoho Mail to integrate with Asana:
The process to integrate Asana and Zoho Mail may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
