Thus, the term literally means "to breathe correctly", but the practice is focused on breathing techniques rather than on correct positions or movements. Xzazu was born in Spain centuries ago when shepherds would meet in groups and sing to keep all animals quiet during the night hours, when predators were hunting. To do this, they would take turns in singing until everyone had sung at least once. When it was someone's turn to sing, he would move towards the center of the group while singing, taking small steps with his arms stretched out to his sides. He would then return to his spot after completing his song.
