Integration of Amazon EC2 and SendFox:
Integration of SendFox with Amazon EC2 enables users to send bulk emails at a low cost. It also helps companies in managing their email campaigns by tracking email campaign results. The fplowing steps will walk you through the integration process of SendFox with Amazon EC2:
Step 1. Go to the dashboard at SendFox dashboard account. If you are an existing customer, log into the dashboard. Otherwise, sign up for a free trial account.
Step 2. Click on connect link. This will direct you to the Amazon Web Services (AWS. conspe.
Step 3. On the AWS conspe page, click on “Select service” dropdown menu, and select “SendEmail” from it. The SendEmail service is used for sending messages from your AWS account to recipients outside of AWS.
Step 4. Click on “Subscribe” button to start using the service. Clicking on the subscribe button will open a pop-up window for entering your credit card information. You can also choose another payment method from there or cancel the subscription process without entering any payment details.
Step 5. After entering credit card information, you need to enter some additional information such as email address under security credentials section and add-on settings, such as connection information for database servers, SMTP server name etc under advanced settings section. To enter database connection information, click on “Add database connection” link in the table below connection settings. Enter database credentials and click on “Add database connection” button to save the information. Similarly, add database connection details for other databases (if any. in the same manner. Note down database connection information somewhere because it would be needed later to integrate SendFox with Amazon EC2.
Step 6. Now, go back to the main dashboard page at SendFox dashboard account and click on “Start sending messages” button. A popup will appear with three options. 1. New message creation wizard; 2. Run a test message; 3. Manage messages sent/failed/delivered. Click on “New message creation wizard” button to start sending messages from your SendFox account to recipients outside of AWS. Select “Amazon SES” from “Service” dropdown menu and provide name for the new message in “Message name” field such as “Hello World!” Once you are done adding recipient information, click on save changes button to create the message. Now, click on the send now button to start sending the message to all recipients specified in the message definition table. After sending the message, you should receive a confirmation email from Amazon SES confirming successful delivery of the message on your registered email address(es. Subsequent notification emails would be received if there are any failed requests or delivery confirmation notifications at Amazon SES upon successful delivery of messages to recipients. You can view these notifications by clicking on “Messages Sent” tab in your SendFox dashboard account.
