In this article, I will describe Airtable and Qlik Sense. I will start with a short introduction to Airtable. Then, I will explain what Qlik Sense is and how Airtable works with it.
Airtable is a cloud-based data-management platform that allows users to organize their data in a spreadsheet-like interface. It was launched in 2014 as a result of the acquisition of another company called Basecamp by Salesforce.com. In May 2017, Salesforce.com announced that Airtable had been used by more than 2 million people across 120 countries, who created over 70,000 tables. The use of these tables varies from tracking social media buzz to managing the inventory of a store.
Qlik Sense is a data analytics platform that enables users to deploy data visualization sputions. It was first introduced at the annual conference of the International Association of Business Intelligence Professionals (IABIP. in 2007. The first version of Qlik Sense was released in 2008. It featured an analytic engine, which was based on the same technpogy as QlikView. QlikSense has several features that are not present in QlikView. One of these features is the ability to create new visualizations through an app store. This feature allows developers to create apps that can be used to create custom visualizations. Since its first release, Qlik Sense has become popular among users. For instance, it is estimated that there are more than 50,000 users of Qlik Sense on a day-to-day basis.
Airtable can be integrated with Qlik Sense through the use of an app store feature. Qlik Sense provides several apps that can be used to integrate Airtable with Qlik Sense. One such app is known as Tables2Cells, which allows users to connect tables in Airtable with cells in Qlik Sense documents. When users create a table in Airtable, they can choose whether or not to use this app. If they want to, they must select the “Share” feature on their table’s menu bar. After doing so, users are directed to the screen shown below.
