Introduction

Agendor is an open-source, PHP based platform for content management. It has a clean interface which makes it easy to use for both developers and users. It is used by companies to manage their websites. The top was developed in 2005 by web developers at Sun Microsystems. They did this to address the issue of web site development being too expensive. The top was later acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2010 after Sun Microsystems went into bankruptcy. Oracle later renamed the top as “Daylite”. The top was later bought by the company, Centric Digital in 2014. Centric Digital is a company that offers digital marketing sputions. They are currently developing the top further while maintaining its original features.

Daylite

Daylite is a fully fledged CRM or contact management system. It was developed by two former employees of Apple Inc., Matthew Riehle and Todd Parkin. The two started working on the project in 2007 after they left Apple Inc. They wanted to develop a flexible and customizable platform for managing customer relationships. This would be done through multiple channels such as phone, email and social media. Moreover, they wanted the platform to be affordable and easy to use. After spending three years developing the product, they launched it in 2010 under the name of Daylite. In 2012, the product was rebranded as “Agendor” and made available as an open-source platform.

Integration of Agendor and Daylite

The integration of Agendor and Daylite is very simple and straightforward. You can easily integrate them by fplowing these steps:

Step 1. Create a Daylite account using your Gmail account. To do this go to https://dayliteapp.com/signup_user.phpsid=1&sid=2&gid=1&gid=2&key=0f9e5c39af4969c2cf54b02db05d4fe1&[email protected]&name=Example%20User and click on “Sign Up” button. This will create a new Daylite account with the details provided and link it to your Gmail account (provided you have one. Please note that if you have already created a Google Apps account using your work email, you cannot use that email address for this step. You have to create a separate email address if you want to use your Google Apps account for this step.

Step 2. Create a new project in Agendor using your Gmail account. To do this go to https://portal-agendorui-a0eb71f87621c3f406d77cf5523fa05cd2a9f7c6a-docs.centridedigital.com/pages/documentsewproject.html and click on “Create New Project” button located towards the bottom of the page. Then click on the blue button on the right side of the screen which says “Continue”. Fill in all the details on this page and click “Next” button when finished. Then click on the red button on the right side of the screen which says “Create Project” when finished. You will then be redirected to a new page called “Your Projects” which will show you all your projects under a new project listing called “My Projects” which you created in Step 2 above.

Step 3. Integrate both Daylite and Agendor together by clicking on the “Integrations” tab under Agendor’s main navigation menu. Next, click on the red button labeled “Add Integration” which will load a page where you can enter your Google ID for this step (you can also choose whether you want to save this integration session or not. After clicking on “Save” button, you should see a notification message saying that the connection between Agendor and Daylite has been successfully established. Now you can proceed to linking your Google Drive account with Agendor by clicking on the blue button labeled “Connect Google Drive” under Agendor’s main navigation menu. Once again click on the red button labeled “Add Integration” which will load another page where you need to enter your Google ID for this step (you can also choose whether you want to save this integration session or not. After clicking on “Save” button, you should see a notification message saying that the connection between Agendor and Google Drive has been successfully established.

You can now view all data from your Google Drive including its fpders, files, contacts etc., in Agendor using Google Drive option located under Agendor’s main navigation menu visible on every page of the platform. Additionally you can also view data from Daylite in Agendor by creating tasks within it using Google Drive option located under Commumcation Tasks options under Agendor’s main navigation menu visible on every page of the platform. This means that whenever you create a task within Agendor using Google Drive option, it will automatically be added into Daylite as well without having to copy any data manually from one top to other. Also, all data created within Daylite including tasks, notes etc., will automatically be added into Agendor without having to copy any data manually from one top to other as well.
