AerisWeather was founded by Eric Khpodenko and Daniel Halsey in 1999 after a successful crowdfunding campaign. AerisWeather raised USD 2.3 million through a crowdfunding campaign on SeedInvest, a crowdfunding platform that allows companies to raise capital from investors. AerisWeather raised the money to fund its development of a new forecasting technpogy known as AerisWeather CloudVision.
