Adobe Sign is a platform that allows users to sign and fill out forms electronically. The first version of the software was released in 2012. Since then, the service has been continuously improved and upgraded. Currently, Adobe offers three versions of its digital signature software. Standard, Plus and Advanced. Adobe Sign also integrates with several other business apps, such as Slack, Salesforce, Google Docs and Dropbox. This integration enables users to complete tasks more quickly and efficiently than they otherwise would be able to.

Slack is a cloud-based messaging app for teams. The platform allows users to communicate with each other by sending texts, files, images, links and other types of media through channels. Slack allows users to create groups, called “teams”, to which they can invite other team members. Each team can have different channels, where users can share their thoughts, ideas, notes and comments. Slack’s search function enables users to easily find specific pieces of information within the text that is shared among the group.

Integration of Adobe Sign and Slack

When using Adobe Sign to create a form, users can pick from a variety of fields, including company name, employee’s name, address, phone number and social security number. Each field contains information that is relevant to said field. For example, an employee’s name appears under the Employee Name field. There are also checkboxes that can be added to the form. When completed electronically, Adobe Sign generates an invoice that can be sent directly to the recipient. Therefore, it does not matter whether or not the recipient has an Adobe Sign account. The invoice can be delivered via email or uploaded to Dropbox or Google Drive.

Slack users have access to the same fields as Adobe Sign users do. However, these fields are integrated into one application rather than two separate platforms. When creating a form in Slack, users can choose to make it private only to members who belong to the same team or public. The same goes for invoices; they can be shared both publicly and privately.
