Peace Of Hope

Peace Of Hope

Peace of Hope is a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization assisting families of imprisoned and recently released people. Founded in 2012, Peace of Hope fills in the gaps and provides help, assistance, education, and advocacy to the families of imprisoned people. They also help families get in touch with their imprisoned family members by arranging transportation, and meetings with their loved ones.

Challenge

Peace of Hope is a small non-profit organization managed by a small group of people dedicated to their cause. There were two challenges Peace of Hope faced. They had a hard time getting in touch with the families they were trying to help, and a lot of people who needed them could not reach them.

New families that required their help could not get in touch with them properly, and it was difficult to reach out to existing families through phone calls. They realized that they need to provide efficient, personalized support immediately.

The only way to do that was through a mobile app. However, they did not have the necessary resources to create a mobile app. Being a non-profit, hiring developers and investing in a mobile app was difficult.

Solution

With the help of Appy Pie’s no-code app builder and Appy Pie’s excellent customer support, Peace of Hope created a dedicated mobile app that allows such families to contact Peace of Hope directly through mobile.

The mobile app can be used to book appointments, get personalized support if your loved one is arrested or incarcerated, learn about collective events for families of imprisoned people, and to get in touch with the representatives of the organization.

Peace Of Hope App

Outcome

According to Dr. Sharon B. Green, the Founder of Peace of Hope, 100% of affected families that need Peace of Hope’s help can reach them through the app. The app has been extremely successful in increasing the accessibility of the organization and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their efforts.

Dr. Sharon chose Appy Pie because of the fast and easy app development process as well as excellent assistance and support she received from Appy Pie while developing her app! The app is available to download on the Play Store for free!

Built entirely without coding, Peace of Hope is an excellent mobile app made by an organization with a mission to help people!
