How to Integrate Zoom into your Chatbot? Step-By-Step Tutorial

Integration with Zoom :

You can now have a video call with your visitors or customers by integrating Zoom to your Appy Pie Chatbot account. You can see all the default integrations in the marketplace tab, under the ‘Integration’ section. Read on to find out how you can install the Zoom integration.

Step 1 

Login to your Appy Pie chatbot account and go to “Integrations”



Step 2 

You’ll see the ‘Marketplace’ section where “All integrations” are displayed by default



Step 3 

Here, you will find the integrations that are available across all categories. You can either search for “Zoom” and click on the “Install” button or go to “Live chat” category from the left panel and click on the “Install” button.

Once you click on the “Install” button, a panel will appear under the “Zoom” logo. In the panel you will need to enter the “Meeting ID” and “Meeting link” of your Zoom account.



Step 4 

To get your “Meeting ID” and “Meeting Link”, you need to login to your zoom account. Once you do so, you’ll automatically land on the profile page where “Meeting ID” and “Meeting link” are displayed by default.



Step 5 

Once you’ve pasted both “Meeting ID” and “Meeting link”, click on the “Connect” button.


Once the integration is completed you’ll see an installed tag on it with an option to uninstall it.

Step 6 

Once you’ve installed “Zoom”, verify it by opening your chatbot and clicking on the live chat icon. In it, you should be able to see the Zoom icon in the middle panel.



Step 7 

Click on the link to initiate a zoom call with the visitor or customer that you’re chatting with.
