Video Transcription: Now let's talk about how long your webinar should be this video is brought to you by Appy Pie’s Academy. and there isn't a perfect time for every type of webinar but the rule of thumb that is the most accurate is long enough to cover everything that means you're welcoming people your main teaching in the webinar which is where you provide the value the Q&A section portion and your sales pitch you should have time for all that and it might be 15 or 30 minutes or 45 or 60 minutes just pre-planning so that you give value don't speed up or slow down unnaturally or unnecessarily but make sure you keep things moving along and briskly and all parts of the webinar are interesting if some parts of the webinar are not interesting you're gonna have a higher drop-off rate so if you try to go too long because you're trying to aim I should have every webinar 60 minutes that's not ideal the ideal thing is pack the webinar with great information that is really needed that you can present briskly and in an interesting way make sure that you fulfill the promise of the webinar the way you promoted it whatever you promised in your promotions in the time that you said the webinar make sure you fulfill that promise so that people do get what they come there to do not just listen to your sales pitch so as long as you have value throughout the time hardly matters Mark's webinars they are 60 minutes long that's a relatively standard length if you're a beginner I aim for maybe 30 or 45 minutes because it is not it is not easy to keep the audience engaged for a whole hour so I'd probably aim for maybe 30 or 45 minutes in your first sessions just so you can get used to it and not have to fill a whole hour with very entertaining material.
